ABOUT BRITTANY MARTINEZ:
Brittany is the oldest of four children. She used to be very involved in Tae Kwon Do. At age 12, she won the California Open in sparring and won the bronze at the Junior Olympics. She later had to quit when she started modeling and make up artists had trouble covering up all the bruises on her legs. Brittany won the Elle Girl Model Search. She is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She first discovered a love of acting in 6th grade when her class did a one-act play of Macbeth in which she was Macbeth. People didn’t recognize her because she wore a huge wig. Her first big modeling break was being a top 12 finalist out of 20,000 girls in CosmoGirl’s Model Search in 2007. She attended two different schools during her high school years. Brittany ran track and cross country and was a cheerleader. A tomboy all her life, Brittany never considered modeling until she attended an etiquette class taught by Carla Pate, Dallas’ top model for 10 years, who really encouraged her to pursue it.
