Scrap Paper Pictures is a production company founded by Brosnahan in early 2020. She told Fortune that she is using this production company as a way to pay it forward because the focus of the company is to bring “new voices into the industry.”

In fact, Scrap Paper Pictures recently brought on well-established producer Julie Waters on as Head of TV and Film Development. How exciting!

She Brought Piglets On-Set During Mrs. Maisel Production Shoot Days

Hard-core Brosnahan fans would already know that she is a big animal lover (her Instagram frequently features pics of her adorable dogs). But The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel co-star Marin Hinkle shared in an interview with IMDb that Brosnahan’s love for animals extended to the rest of the cast when she brought piglets to set! Can we get in on this piggy love?!

She Plays Wordle

Seeing that Brosnahan plays Wordle just like we do really reminds her fans that she’s just another human! Her recent Instagram post tells us that she experiences the same frustrations with this game as most players do.

She Is Not Jewish

Despite Brosnahan’s perfect portrayal of Midge and her very Jewish family in Mrs. Maisel, she is not of Jewish descent in real life. However, she grew up in Highland Park outside of Chicago, and has said that her exposure to Jewish culture while growing up has helped her to understand and play the role of Midge.

She Is Related To Kate Spade

Brosnahan is the niece of late fashion designer Kate Spade. Following Spade’s passing, Brosnahan shared a beautiful tribute to the designer on her Instagram.

Brosnahan Is Quite The Fashionista!

She must get it from her aunt, because Brosnahan claims she “will trade sweats for suits” in an Instagram post from October 2021. Additionally, Brosnahan recently attended a Ralph Lauren fashion show, where she spent time with Lily Collins and Janelle Monáe. What an iconic (and stylish) crew!

Her Husband Appeared In Two Episodes Of Mrs. Maisel!

Brosnahan’s husband, Jason Ralph, plays the role of Mike Carr in 2 episodes of Season 4! Like his wife, Ralph is an actor and also a theater producer. He is best known for his role as the main character Quentin in the Syfy series The Magicians. We hope to see Mike Carr again in the 5th season of Mrs. Maisel!

She Is Already Filming Season 5 of Mrs. Maisel!

Just before the first two episodes of Season 4 released, Brosnahan announced via Instagram that they have already begun filming the 5th and final season of Mrs. Maisel! It certainly is a bittersweet moment for the cast, crew, and of course all the fans, but Brosnahan knows how to excite us for the series finale: “Rest assured our tits are up and it’s going to be a hell of a final chapter.”
