7 Celebrities Who Left Los Angeles During The Pandemic

The pandemic has caused many things but no one expected for it to cause celebrities to escape LA. We have 7 who called LA quits in 2020!

Many Americans were hopeful about what 2020 would bring, especially since major holidays like Christmas, Halloween, and Cinco De Mayo all fell on weekends. What many did not see coming was a global pandemic. Covid-19 shut down countless countries, slowed down travel, and forced many to move back home with mom and dad. Another unforeseen change was the celebrities who decided to get the heck out of L.A.! We decided to showcase 7 celebrities who decided to call it quits in L.A…at least for now anyway.

Ryan Seacrest

The American Idol and daytime talk show host spends most of his time in New York since landing Live with Kelly and Ryan in 2017. Seacrest recently listed his Beverly Hill estate for $85 million. The 45-year-old purchased the 125,580 square foot property from talk show host Ellen DeGeneres back in 2012. Some features include a massage room, outdoor living/dining areas, and an espresso bar.

Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik and Yolanda Foster

New parents Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik headed to the east coast when the pandemic hit. Hadid moved to her family farm in Pennsylvania with her boyfriend and mom. Bella Hadid eventually joined but ultimately returned back to Los Angeles, where her brother Anwar Hadid resides.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved from the United Kingdom over to Los Angeles in early 2020 but quickly headed north four months after Covid-19 started spreading rapidly. The royal duo headed to Santa Barbra, close to where Oprah Winfrey and Ralph Lauren live.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their family home in July of this year. They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected by their neighbors, as well as them as a family,” a representative for the couple said in a statement.

Zac Effron

The Baywatch star was filming his new television show in Australia when the pandemic hit and decided to extend his stay. The actor canceled his flight back home and has since been spotted with Australian native and aspiring model Vanessa Valladares. It’s rumored that the couple met when Zac spotted her working at a local cafe. We’d like to think that Valladares is one of the reasons Zac decided to get the heck out of Los Angeles, but regardless, we’re glad he has someone to quarantine with.
