Netflix is ringing in the holiday season with a dose of dark humor as comedian Tom Segura returns for his fifth stand-up special, Tom Segura: Teacher. The new special will premiere globally on December 24, 2025, adding to Segura’s already impressive Netflix comedy catalog.
Segura first collaborated with Netflix in 2016 with Tom Segura: Mostly Stories, followed by Tom Segura: Disgraceful in 2018, Tom Segura: Ball Hog in 2020, and most recently Tom Segura: Sledgehammer in 2023. Known for his bold, unapologetic style, Segura has also created the darkly twisted series Bad Thoughts, which received an Emmy nomination and is set to return for a second season in 2026.
Directed by Ryan Polito, Teacher is produced by Segura himself along with executive producers Ryan P. Hall and Molly Mandel under the banner of YMH Studios.
