The Terminal List: Dark Wolf teaser trailer brings an explosive first look at Taylor Kitsch-led origin story ahead of August premiere.
Prime Video has just unveiled the official teaser trailer for its highly anticipated action-drama The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, a prequel to the 2022 global hit The Terminal List. The high-octane series, led by Taylor Kitsch and executive produced by Chris Pratt, Jack Carr, and Antoine Fuqua, is set to premiere on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, with the first three episodes dropping exclusively on Prime Video.
Set before the events of The Terminal List, Dark Wolf explores the gripping backstory of Ben Edwards, played by Kitsch, tracing his journey from Navy SEAL to a covert CIA operative. With Chris Pratt reprising his role as James Reece, the prequel offers fans a deeper look into the psychological cost of warfare, the brotherhood of special operations, and the fine line between duty and darkness.
“This season goes even deeper—there’s more grit, more heart, and a lot more on the line,” Kitsch said. “It’s raw, it’s honest, and it really lets you see the heart of who [Ben Edwards] is.”
Created by David DiGilio and The Terminal List author Jack Carr, Dark Wolf remains true to the original series’ commitment to authenticity. The show integrates real-life military veterans as writers, actors, producers, and technical advisors to ensure an accurate and respectful portrayal of Special Operations culture.
Joining Kitsch and Pratt in the cast are Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Robert Wisdom as Jed Haverford, Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, Rona-Lee Shimon as Eliza Perash, Shiraz Tzarfati as Tal Varon, and Jared Shaw as Ernest “Boozer” Vickers, among others.
New episodes of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf will release weekly, leading up to the season finale on Wednesday, September 24. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media, with Frederick E.O. Toye, the Emmy-winning director of Shōgun, directing the pilot.
With heart-pounding action, raw emotion, and an unflinching look at the true cost of war, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf promises to be a gripping addition to the expanding Terminal List universe.
