Prime Video releases first-look images and confirms the premiere date for 56 Days, an addictive new thriller starring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia that follows a fast-burning love affair and a shocking murder investigation, streaming globally February 18, 2026.
Prime Video has unveiled first-look images and set a premiere date for 56 Days, the highly anticipated new series adapted from Catherine Ryan Howard’s best-selling novel. The addictive thriller will debut all eight episodes on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, streaming exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Produced by Atomic Monster and Amazon MGM Studios, the series stars Dove Cameron, Avan Jogia, Karla Souza, and Dorian Missick. The mysterious and seductive story begins when Oliver and Ciara meet by chance in a supermarket and are instantly drawn to one another. The attraction escalates quickly, and dangerously, in a whirlwind affair that unfolds over 56 days.
But the romance takes a dark turn. When homicide investigators arrive at Oliver’s apartment, they discover an unidentified body — brutally murdered and intentionally decomposed. Every detail raises more questions than answers. Did he kill her? Did she kill him? The truth is hidden inside a twisted connection that both characters may be desperate to protect.
The series weaves two timelines together: an intense single day in the present, as investigators search for answers, and flashes of the lovers’ past, revealing how passion, secrets and fear brought them to the brink. The result is a crime story with psychological stakes and a sharp, sexy edge.
