Prime Video reveals first-look images and the official premiere date for Steal, the new high-octane thriller starring Sophie Turner, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, and Archie Madekwe, as the streamer sets the heist in motion for its global launch.
Prime Video is officially setting the heist in motion with the release of first-look images from Steal, the new smart, high-octane thriller premiering Wednesday, January 21, 2026. All six episodes of the series will debut exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Starring Sophie Turner, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, and Archie Madekwe, Steal dives into a contemporary heist of massive scale — one that quickly pulls an unsuspecting office worker into the center of a criminal operation. Turner leads the series as Zara, an ordinary employee at the pension fund investment firm Lochmill Capital, whose typical workday is violently interrupted when a gang of thieves storms the building. Alongside her best friend and coworker Luke, played by Madekwe, Zara is suddenly forced to carry out the gang’s demands.
The stakes escalate as billions of pounds in ordinary people’s pensions hang in the balance. The big question: who would attempt to steal such an enormous sum, and what motive could justify this far-reaching crime?
Determined to uncover the truth is DCI Rhys, portrayed by Fortune-Lloyd. But Rhys faces his own internal battle — a recently relapsed gambling addict, he must confront personal financial struggles while navigating a complex web of competing interests and hidden agendas surrounding the investigation.
With its propulsive energy, dangerous twists, and character-driven tension, Steal is gearing up to deliver a sharply modern, adrenaline-fueled thriller when it arrives early next year.
