Prime Video has dropped the highly anticipated teaser trailer for its stylish new original series Hotel Costiera, starring Jesse Williams, who also serves as executive producer. The six-episode series will debut September 24, streaming exclusively on Prime Video in the U.S., Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
The teaser was first unveiled last night at the 71st Taormina Film Festival, where Jesse Williams gave fans a sneak peek of the action-packed drama at the historic Greek theatre in Taormina. The venue, perched between sea and sky, offered a fittingly cinematic backdrop for the first look at the series.
Filmed entirely in Italy, Hotel Costiera brings together high-stakes storytelling, a fast-paced plot, and scenic luxury along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. Williams stars as Daniel De Luca, a half-Italian former U.S. Marine who returns to his childhood homeland to work as a fixer at one of the most opulent hotels in Positano. But his job quickly becomes more than just catering to elite guests—he’s also searching for Alice, the missing daughter of the hotel’s owner. What begins as a personal mission turns into a dangerous pursuit, forcing Daniel to confront enemies more formidable than anything he faced on the battlefield.
The series boasts a standout ensemble cast, including Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva, and Jean-Hugues Anglade.
Directed by Emmy Award winner Adam Bernstein and Giacomo Martelli, the show is based on an idea by Luca Bernabei and written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill, and Francesco Arlanch. Hotel Costiera is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Lux Vide, a Fremantle company. Fremantle will also handle global sales in additional territories.
