Peacock sets premiere date for O’ahu Shores, a Hawaii-set docuseries following a tight-knit group of friends navigating love, heartbreak, and culture clashes.
Peacock is bringing viewers straight to paradise this fall. The streamer has announced that its new Hawaii-set docuseries O’ahu Shores will premiere Thursday, October 9, with all six 45-minute episodes available to stream the same day.
The series highlights the meaning of “ohana,” which translates to family, through a bold and vibrant group of young Hawaiian locals. While their bond is as strong as family, the group often finds themselves clashing as they step out of their parents’ expectations and chart their own futures. Viewers will follow them as they embrace their culture, explore relationships, experience heartbreak, and test friendship loyalties — all under the island sun.
The cast of O’ahu Shores includes Skye Baker, Alex Fowler, Kaui Goodness, Marcus Hee, Rachael Peterson, Kamalani Pico, Keolu Ramos, and Raven Wood, each facing their own turning points:
Skye Baker is torn between moving back to Guam to be with her long-distance boyfriend or staying in O’ahu where she’s built a life.
Alex Fowler, the oldest of the group and a natural hustler, stirs trouble when he spreads a rumor about his ex-girlfriend, Rachael.
Kaui Goodness searches for love on the mainland while tensions rise with her friend Raven after the end of their joint podcast.
Marcus Hee, the youngest of the group, is home from Arizona State and sparks interest from Kaui — though their chemistry confuses their circle of friends.
Rachael Peterson, originally from Guam, now calls O’ahu home. Her past with Alex complicates the group dynamic as old rumors resurface.
Kamalani Pico is an outdoors expert whose new mainland romance is threatened when Raven interferes.
Keolu Ramos is the glue of the group, but his role as the gossip bearer often fuels conflict.
Raven Wood lives with Rachael and Kaui in the “single girl” Kailua Clubhouse, but her fierce protection of her friends sometimes makes her the group’s biggest antagonist.
Behind the camera, O’ahu Shores is produced by Magilla Entertainment, with executive producers Matthew Ostrom, Laura Palumbo Johnson, Jason Fox, Dominick Pupa, Morgan Miller, Colleen Kluttz, Jessica Galente, and Chelsea Sinclair leading the production.
With its mix of sun-soaked island backdrops, raw friendship drama, and cultural authenticity, O’ahu Shores is set to showcase paradise like never before.
