New Vegas Casino Drama From Scorsese And Billions Team

A new Vegas casino drama from Martin Scorsese and the Billions creators is heading to Netflix, exploring high-stakes power plays in modern Las Vegas as the untitled series follows the dangerous world behind the city’s hottest hotel casino.

Netflix is doubling down on high-stakes storytelling with a brand-new, untitled Las Vegas–set television series from Billions masterminds Brian Koppelman and David Levien — with none other than Martin Scorsese joining as executive producer. The eight-episode drama promises a deep dive into the sharp-edged, high-pressure world of present-day casino culture, where power plays, risky gambles, and shifting alliances rule the strip.

Koppelman and Levien, who will serve as writers, showrunners, and executive producers, bring a long history with gambling-centered storytelling. The duo made their screenwriting debut with the cult poker classic Rounders before returning to Sin City for the heist-driven Ocean’s Thirteen. Now, they’re returning to Vegas once again — this time through a modern lens — with a series that explores what it takes to survive at the top of one of the most cutthroat industries in entertainment.

Helping shape the world of the series is cinema icon Martin Scorsese, whose ties to Las Vegas storytelling remain legendary thanks to his acclaimed film Casino. Scorsese’s producing résumé also includes HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, further cementing his influence in the genre.

The drama centers on Robert “Bobby Red” Redman, the president of the hottest hotel casino in today’s Vegas. As competition intensifies and old dangers evolve into new threats, Bobby finds himself making increasingly risky moves to maintain his position — and seize even more territory in a city where the odds are never truly in anyone’s favor.

The cast for the series has not yet been announced, and details remain tightly guarded as the project heads into production. Alongside Koppelman, Levien, and Scorsese, the executive producing team includes Sikelia Productions, Julie Yorn and Rick Yorn for Expanded Media, Paul Schiff, Beth Schacter, and co-executive producer Kerry Orent.

As Netflix prepares to spin the wheel on this new casino drama, fans will have to stay tuned for more updates. For now, Sin City is calling — and the stakes are already sky-high.
