Netflix has announced star-studded additions to A Man on the Inside Season 2 as Charles goes undercover at a college in Mike Schur’s hit comedy.
Netflix is bringing even more star power to its hit comedy A Man on the Inside, with a fresh lineup of familiar faces joining Season 2. The critically acclaimed series, created by Mike Schur and based on the Oscar-nominated documentary The Mole Agent, is set to return with Charles (Ted Danson) diving into his next undercover mission—this time at a college campus.
In Season 2, Charles finds himself at Wheeler College, where he continues his journey as a mole in a new and unexpected environment. His mission introduces a colorful cast of characters, ranging from eccentric academics to students just trying to make it through the semester.
New cast members include Constance Marie (With Love,George Lopez) as Vanessa, a former con artist who now serves as a part-time criminal underworld source for Julie (Lilah Richcreek Estrada), and David Strathairn (The Bourne Legacy, Alphas) as Dr. Cole, the charismatic and widely beloved head of the English Department.
Gary Cole (NCIS, Veep) joins as Brad Vinick, a wealthy businessman whose generous donation to Wheeler College sets off a chain of events that lands Charles on campus. Jason Mantzoukas (Big Mouth, Taskmaster) plays Apollo Lambrakis, a lovable contractor with literary ambitions, while Jill Talley (Mr. Show, SpongeBob SquarePants) steps into the role of Holly Bodgemark, the perpetually overwhelmed Provost.
The ensemble continues with Linda Park (Bosch, For All Mankind) as Elizabeth Muki, the Fine Arts Department head; Lisa Gilroy (Interior Chinatown, Jury Duty) as Kelseigh Rose, an aspiring photographer and Brad’s new wife; and Madison Hu (The Brothers Sun, Boogeyman) as Claire, a hardworking junior juggling multiple campus jobs.
Max Greenfield (The Neighborhood, Unfrosted) plays Jack Beringer, the energetic college president focused on fundraising, and Michaela Conlin (Bones, For All Mankind) portrays Andrea Yi, a spirited economics professor eager to embrace change. Rounding out the list is Sam Huntington (Superman Returns, Being Human) as Max Griffin, a bold journalism professor known for stirring the pot.
These new cast members join the previously announced Mary Steenburgen, adding even more comedic and dramatic depth to the series.
Season 1 followed Charles, a retired man who answers a mysterious ad and is pulled into the world of private investigation as a mole. The show blends heartfelt moments with sharp humor, earning praise from critics and fans alike.
