Netflix renews America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for season 3 as cameras capture the 2025 squad and NFL season journey.
Netflix is keeping the spotlight on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. The streamer announced that America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders has officially been renewed for a third season, set to debut in 2026. Cameras are already rolling in Texas, documenting the newly formed 2025 squad as they prepare for another NFL season.

Led once again by DCC Senior Director Kelli Finglass and Head Choreographer Judy Trammell, Season 3 will follow the cheerleaders from auditions and training camp all the way through the 2025–26 football season. The new episodes will continue offering the unfiltered access that has made the series a fan favorite, pulling back the curtain on one of the most iconic teams in sports and entertainment.
The renewal comes on the heels of the show’s breakout second season, which premiered on June 18, 2025. Season 2 reached Netflix’s Top 10 English TV list in 19 countries, including the United States, proving the enduring appeal of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
From Emmy Award-winning director Greg Whiteley, Season 3 promises even more behind-the-scenes drama and triumphs. Whiteley, who returns as director and executive producer, expressed excitement about continuing the story, saying: “The world of DCC is an embarrassment of riches when it comes to stories to be told. I’m grateful our crew has another season to keep telling them.”
The series is produced by One Potato Productions and Boardwalk Pictures in association with Campfire Studios. Whiteley and Adam Leibowitz executive produce for One Potato Productions, alongside Andrew Fried and Dane Lillegard for Boardwalk Pictures, and Ross M. Dinerstein and Rebecca Evans for Campfire Studios.
The renewal also highlights Netflix’s ongoing partnership with the Dallas Cowboys organization. That collaboration continues tomorrow with the debut of America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys, premiering August 19, 2025, exclusively on Netflix.
