Netflix And iHeartMedia Launch Exclusive Video Podcasts

Netflix and iHeartMedia announce an exclusive video podcast partnership bringing more than 15 top iHeartPodcasts, new episodes and select library titles to Netflix in early 2026.

Netflix is expanding its non-scripted slate in a major way. The streamer has announced a new exclusive video podcast partnership with iHeartMedia that will bring more than 15 of the audio company’s most popular original iHeartPodcasts to Netflix.

Under the agreement, all new episodes from the participating podcasts — along with select library episodes — will stream exclusively on Netflix as video podcasts. The new video content is set to launch in early 2026 in the United States, with additional markets planned to follow.

The deal marks a significant step in the evolution of podcasting, as iHeartMedia extends its audio-first hits into a visual format while maintaining full audio-only rights and distribution across iHeartRadio and other podcast platforms.

A star-studded lineup of podcasts

The partnership includes a wide-ranging roster of shows across comedy, true crime, culture, music, history, sports, and mental health. Among the titles joining Netflix are The Breakfast Club, My Favorite Murder, Bobby Bones Presents: The Bobbycast, Behind the Bastards, and The Psychology of Your 20s.

High-profile talent is also a major part of the deal. Comedy fans will see Dear Chelsea with Chelsea Handler and This Is Important, hosted by Workaholics stars Adam Devine, Anders Holm, and Blake Anderson. Music and culture are represented by Joe and Jada, featuring Grammy-nominated artists Fat Joe and Jadakiss.

Why the partnership matters

iHeartMedia CEO Bob Pittman described video podcasts as the natural next step for the medium, noting that the partnership with Netflix creates a new way for fans to engage with their favorite hosts while opening the door to new audiences. Netflix VP of Content Licensing and Programming Strategy Lauren Smith highlighted the variety and personalities involved, pointing to true crime, culture, and comedy as key pillars of the initial rollout.

With Netflix’s global reach and iHeartMedia’s dominance in podcasting, the collaboration signals a major push to bring video podcasts into the mainstream entertainment ecosystem.
