In its first run, The L Word broke new ground for LGBT representation on TV. Now, Showtime is bringing the series back for a new generation with even greater representation than its predecessor. This week on The L Word Generation Q, Alice is caught off guard when network execs want to take her show in a different direction than she had hoped, and is then further blindsided at home when she walks in on Nat and Gigi in bed together… Without her! Our girl Shane struggles with finding that baby love as her and Quiara hear their baby’s heart beat for the first time. Our main B, Bette, gets hit with vicious attack ad from her opponent. She also schools Dani on the values of common curtesy. And Speaking of Dani, she and Sophie are still having communication troubles when Sophie’s grandma winds up in the hospital. Dani is no where to be found, and Finley shows up being the best friend a girl could ask for, but ultimately putting herself in a compromising position. We also get to meet Micahs’s mother and all learn a little lesson a little lesson in Love and acceptance.

The L Word: Q Generation After Show

What a finale! Bette losing the election and having to cope with it. What is her next move? Even more troubling, Shane and Quiara lose the baby.. and possibly much more. Alice pulls rank and decides to go big or go home, both in the office and maybe her actual home? Dani asks Sophie to elope to Hawaii but Sophie has some residual feelings over Finley to consider. Will she go to Hawaii with Dani? OR Missouri with Finley?? Micah says the L word (Love) to Jose at Jose’s art show, but also learns that Jose has been keeping a HUGE secret.
