Kelly Osbourne Gets Engaged During Ozzy’s Final Show

Kelly Osbourne is engaged to Slipknot’s Sid Wilson after his surprise proposal during her father, Ozzy Osbourne’s, final Black Sabbath performance.

Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson are officially engaged—and the proposal couldn’t have been more rock and roll.

The Fashion Police alum said “yes” to the Slipknot turntablist during a major moment in music history: her father Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in England on July 5. The 48-year-old rocker popped the question in front of Kelly’s family and friends while Ozzy was on stage—though not without a bit of trademark Osbourne humor.

“Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world,” Wilson began before Ozzy interrupted, shouting, “F— off, you’re not marrying my daughter.” The crowd laughed as Wilson continued, saying, “Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?”

The 40-year-old star nodded in shock and joy before embracing her new fiancé. Onlookers, including Sharon Osbourne and Jack Osbourne, cheered them on during the sweet and surreal moment.

Kelly and Sid’s relationship began as a friendship back in 1999, when Wilson’s band toured with Ozzfest, the festival founded by her parents. After years of staying close, the two began dating in January 2022. A source described them at the time as “very happy together.”

For Valentine’s Day 2022, Kelly shared their love story on Instagram, writing: “After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson.”

Wilson replied with his own heartfelt tribute, calling their love a “palette” that words couldn’t contain.

Later that same year, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. Kelly revealed the news on Instagram, writing, “I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma… I am ecstatic!” Their son, Sidney, was born at the end of 2022.

While Kelly initially hoped to keep his arrival private, her mom Sharon let the news slip on The Talk, confirming both the birth and the baby’s name. Kelly responded on social media, saying she wasn’t ready to “share him with the world.”

Since then, Kelly has fully embraced motherhood, frequently sharing just how much she loves being a mom. On a 2023 episode of The Osbournes podcast, she called Sidney “the best thing that ever happened to me” and said, “I just love being a mom. It is everything to me.”
