How To Watch The NFL In 2025: Streaming Options Guide

How to watch the NFL in 2025 with streaming services, exclusive game dates, and the platforms hosting this season’s biggest matchups.

The 2025 NFL season is nearly here, but finding the right way to watch your favorite team might be harder than stopping a two-minute drill. With an ever-growing list of streaming platforms, exclusive rights deals, and special broadcasts, catching all the action now requires a game plan.

For fans sticking with traditional cable, many games played by local teams will still air on regional affiliates, and some national matchups will be available as well — though not all. For everyone else, here’s how to navigate the streaming landscape this fall.

Streaming Services

One of the most comprehensive options is YouTubeTV with the NFL Sunday Ticket add-on. Priced at $276 for new subscribers for the full season (and more for returning users), it includes local channels plus out-of-market games. YouTube also holds exclusive rights to the September 5 game in Brazil between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs, which will stream for free. Other platforms such as Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and DirecTV Stream also carry many local and national broadcasts.

NFL+

The NFL’s own streaming service offers live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games. The premium tier adds extras like game replays and NFL RedZone access.

Amazon Prime Video

Thursday night football is primarily an Amazon Prime exclusive, available to Prime members for $14.99 per month.

ESPN DTC

Launching August 21 for about $30 per month, ESPN’s direct-to-consumer package will feature Monday Night Football, select ABC games, and some international matchups. A recent deal between ESPN and the NFL is expected to expand its offerings in the future.

Peacock

NBC’s streaming service carries Sunday Night Football, select playoff games, and has exclusive rights to a December 27 matchup.

Paramount+

Paramount+ offers NFL games aired on CBS, giving fans access to AFC-heavy coverage.

Fox One

Debuting August 21, Fox One will provide all games broadcast on Fox.

Netflix

In a holiday first, Netflix will stream two exclusive Christmas Day games: Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings.

With so many platforms in the mix, watching the NFL in 2025 means knowing which service has your game — and sometimes signing up for more than one. Whether you’re a die-hard who needs every snap or just tuning in for big matchups, this season’s viewing options are more varied than ever.
