Prime Video announced the season two premiere date for Cross, unveiling a gripping new teaser and cast additions for the crime thriller series.
Prime Video is bringing back its hit crime thriller Cross for a second season, officially announcing the global premiere date and debuting a new teaser at New York Comic Con. Fans can mark their calendars for February 11, 2026, when the first three episodes of the eight-episode season drop exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. New episodes will follow each week, leading up to the season finale on March 18.
Based on the characters from James Patterson’s best-selling Alex Cross book series, Cross is created by showrunner, writer, and executive producer Ben Watkins. The series stars and is executive produced by Aldis Hodge, who returns as Alex Cross, a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist known for his ability to unravel the darkest corners of a criminal’s mind.
Season two will see Cross face off against a ruthless vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire magnates, raising the stakes even higher in the Washington, D.C.-set drama.
The new season also brings fresh faces into the Cross universe, including Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason, and Wes Chatham. Returning cast members include Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill.
Alongside Watkins and Hodge, executive producers include Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios.
With its twisted, pulse-pounding storytelling, Cross quickly became a standout for Prime Video, and season two promises even more gripping tension, shocking turns, and new character dynamics that will keep audiences on edge each week.
