Carole Radziwill Returns To Bravo After 7 Years

Carole Radziwill made a surprise return to Bravo after 7 years and shares major life updates during a Watch What Happens Live appearance.

Carole Radziwill is back — and Bravo fans are here for it. After a seven-year hiatus from The Real Housewives of New York City, the bestselling author and former reality star made a surprise appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on August 4.

The RHONY alum was warmly welcomed by Andy Cohen and the evening’s guests, Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, as she made her way to the bar for a quick chat. “Making a triumphant return!” Andy announced with a smile, prompting laughter and applause.

“This is so crazy to me, by the way,” Carole said, settling in. Andy responded with excitement, “It’s been a minute! Radzi, it’s been a minute!”

Following her appearance, Carole took to Instagram to reflect on the moment. “The [RHONY] reunion you were waiting for… yes, that’s me. The mystery guest on WWHL,” she captioned her post. She praised Andy for being “incredible and fun and gracious with a smile ear to ear,” even joking about her well-known aversion to hugs, calling theirs “the best part.”

She also clarified her return was a one-time thing: “That’s all folks… no other reunions or appearances but this one was worth all my nervousness & butterflies.”

During the show, Carole updated fans on what she’s been up to — including launching a new Substack. Describing it as “musings, cultural observations, unsolicited opinions on people, places, and things,” Carole said the platform will include previously unpublished work and insights from her personal life. While she’s steering clear of politics for now, she hinted, “I will.”

“It’s sort of like my life with Carole Radziwill,” she explained. “Bravo fans are so incredible, even all these years later… and so I want to give them something to read and think about.”

Carole also revealed that she’s been working behind the scenes in theater. Earlier this year, she shared on Instagram that she’s an investor in the Off-Broadway revival of Curse of the Starving Class, written by Sam Shepard. The production, presented by The New Group NYC, stars Calista Flockhart, Christian Slater, Cooper Hoffman, and Stella Marcus.

And that’s not all — Carole is also involved in a new CNN documentary, premiering August 9, about her late husband Anthony Radziwill’s cousin, John F. Kennedy Jr., his magazine George, and his late wife Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. “It’s nice, because I don’t participate in a lot of that,” Carole said, but noted she welcomed the chance to speak about “what really mattered to [John]… his passion and his magazine, and of course, his Carolyn.”

As for her personal life, Carole confirmed she still keeps in touch with a few RHONY castmates. “Dorinda and I share a really good friend, so I do see her occasionally,” she shared. “Heather [Thomson] moved to the Berkshires, but she comes to the city… and then other than that, I haven’t seen anyone else in eight years.” She recently had a surprise run-in with Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps at a party — joking that it felt like a reality show moment.

Fans also got a quick update on her iconic Soho apartment. While the famously railing-free floating staircase remains, Carole revealed she recently redesigned the space. “It’s all like, French architecture and molding,” she said. “It looks totally different than you guys have seen it.”

As for her love life? Carole didn’t drop any names, but she told Us Weekly back in February that dating “just gets better and better” as she gets older — even calling it “rocking.”

With her wit, charm, and unexpected updates, Carole Radziwill’s Bravo return proved she’s still got fans (and Andy) hanging on her every word.
