Julie Ann Emery Stops By AfterBuzz TV’s PREACHER After Show to Discuss How Good It Is to Be Bad

By Matt Marr

Julie Ann Emery made an appearance of AfterBuzz TV’s PREACHER after show, where she was interviewed by hosts Ben Bateman, Davie Child, Nate Miller, and Matt Marr.  During the hour interview, Emery, who plays Featherstone, on AMC’s second season of Preacher, dished on how delightful it is to play an assassin.

NOTE: If you did not watch the August 14th episode of Preacher, beware…SPOILERS AHEAD!

This episode was huge for Featherstone and the audience got to see that this woman is fearless.  The AfterBuzz panel wanted to know what makes Featherstone so committed to the cause. Is she in love with Herr Starr?

“I don’t know if it’s love love” Emery said, “He [Herr Starr] has a strength and a directness, and a willingness to do anything. She finds that appealing.”  she went on to say, “Featherstone is a true believer in the Grail. She thinks the world has gone to hell and if she has to blow it up to save she’s going to do that. Herr Starr embodies that.”

One of the most intense moments of this week’s episode of Preacher was the night massacre where the Grail comes looking for Jesse. The apartment sequence was shot in complete silence in a Call of Duty POV style.

“Yes, that was a credit to the director, Michael Dowse”, Emery explained, “But also, it was written that way from the beginning. In the first script I got, it said this is shot from the POV of what they called, ‘Grail Hero’.  I think that’s a fascinating thing for a writer to put into a script.”

This episode also introduced Featherstone’s new favorite weapon of choice, B.R.A.D.

“Featherstone proper—you know like regular Featherstone—feels very low and flat all the time,” Emery explains. “She thinks in a straight line. [But] there is this whole B.R.A.D. thing that actually does something to her insides where she’s excited about B.R.A.D. It’s awesome. That’s a true zealot.”

The panel also discussed the long road Preacher had in finally making it to the silver screen…or any screen for that matter.

Emery was shocked and grateful the show has come so far.  “Who does Preacher? You gotta give AMC Credit,” she said. “Not just for doing it but also–everytime I read something online, where people say, ‘Oh they’re [AMC] not going to let them [the writers] do this.” she then joked, “I’m like…ummmm.”

AMC and the show’s creators Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Sam Catlin have famously taken many of the ‘not-so-family-friendly’ aspects of the Preacher comics, and integrated them into the show. “Charlie Collier has taken a big, big risk with Preacher, and continues to take it.”

Host Miller commented on the many different versions of Featherstone Emery has to play. “It’s amazing how completely you change your looks in the show, “ he noted.

“I have amazing wigs!” Emery responded.  “A lot of folks on twitter are talking about Featherstone’s quick change abilities, which obviously are vast. But if you do look closely in this episode, you’ll see the wig and the sweater hanging right next to the coat rack in the corner, right next to the front door. She’s insanely prepared, all the time. She’s Featherstone.”

Veteran actor William Sadler joins AfterBuzzTV “POWER” recap show

By Jill Munroe

Veteran actor William Sadler, who portrays Tony Teresi on season four of the hit Starz show POWER, dropped into AfterBuzz TV this week. Sadler joined hosts Bamm Erikson, Jimmy Vibert, Jill Munroe and Robin Ayers to recap episode 8, “It’s Done.”

Sadler gave insight into the Tersei character, talked POWER internet theories, and shared how he was cast in the pivotal role of the incarcerated gangster with crazy connections to the character of Tommy. When asked if Tersei is really going to use Tommy to help Kanan, Sadler said “I think that’s a distinct possibility, I mean his wife is, she’s sick, his wife of 30 something years and they never had kids you know, so it’s possible.”

Sadler also mentioned how much fun it is to watch the episodes while the rest of the audience is watching saying, “I watch it when the rest of the world watches it, when the rest of the world sees it all kind of sewn together, and it’s always a blast.”

Is Love In The Air on “So You Think You Can Dance”?

By Tiege Dooley-Panko

So You Think You Can Dance contestants, judges, and Allstars all had to face the hard truth this week.

Someone was going home.

It wasn’t just anyone that went home either – Robert Green, who’s been a fan favorite since auditions had to say goodbye after being eliminated with partner and Allstar, Jasmine.

Logan and Sydney were the other two contestants in the bottom three.

AfterBuzz talked to Logan after the show and he said the whole thing is starting to feel more serious.

“We did build this bond and we built this family. Last week we didn’t have anyone go home but this week was just a hit to the heart for all of us,” Logan said.

Mark said eliminations don’t scare him but he does get upset to see people go home.

“They don’t scare me because I think whenever I go home, I did my job,” but he also mentioned, “it makes me cry to see people go home because you connected so that’s tough.”

Allstar Cyrus told ABTV that everyone always knows eliminations are coming but no one talks about it.

“We didn’t have to say anything but you can feel it,” Cyrus said. “But it’s also pushing people to dance better, dance smarter, and dance harder.”

Cyrus’s partner, Kaylee, said she’s just trying to stay present and live in the moment while enjoying the process.

Allstar Jenna and Kiki had a lot to prove this week after a routine that left the judges wanting more last week.

And boy, did they bring it! Kiki and Jenna performed a Luther Brown hip-hop routine with a joker theme and a money gun. YES…a money gun. The crowd and the judges went wild and Kiki worked his way back into America’s heart.

Another huge moment of the night was when Lex confirmed to AfterBuzz TV that he is dating fellow contestant, Taylor Sieve! The couple just posted a photo together on Taylor’s Instagram. The caption was, “my love.”

Koine and Marko won’t confirm or deny that they’re dating but it’s clear the fans really want them to!

The pair performed an African dance by Sean Cheesman that left the judges very impressed. At one point, Koine lifts Marko and made it look effortless. Nigel said a piece like that shows dance can “unite the world.”

Be sure to tune into AfterBuzz TV for So You Think You Can Dance after show on Wednesday nights at 7 PCT for the most up to date So You Think You Can Dance info and news!

Dance Moms’ Gianna Martello Gives an Update on Abby Lee Miller

By Dani Golub

Gianna Martello of Dance Moms made an appearance on the 2017 Teen Choice Awards carpet, where she was interviewed by host Dani Golub. Martello revealed some inside scoop on how Abby Lee is handling life behind bars.

“I do keep in contact with her, I have talked to her since everything. She’s good, she’s ok. The competition team is still going under the direction of me.”

The show must go on for the Teen Choice nominated reality show and the dancers seem to be in very good hands with Martello. Though she is excited, there is a lot of pressure to fill the giant shoes of Abby Lee, “I think Dance Moms in general is a lot of pressure on me to perform, but I think I’ve got it from here.”

On working with Maddie Ziegler, Martello reveals her close relationship with the teen sensation, “I actually raised her, I’ve been with her before the show and after the show. It’s just exciting to see how much she’s grown and what she’s doing now. That’s my girl.”

The interview also touched on what it has been like to go from being just a small competition dance team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to international fame.

By Chae Jones

Hosts Lynneisha Charles, Chae’ Jones, Amy Cassandra talked with “Daytime Divas” stars Camille Guaty, Fiona Gubelmann, and Vanessa Williams about everything that happened this season, laughter, and their own predictions for what they want for their characters possibilities and of course the food!

The ladies of the aftershow got called by the one and only Vanessa Williams who plays Maxine and Queen Bee of the “Lunch Hour”. When asked what are some of the things she enjoyed the most about filming this season of Daytime Divas, Williams said, “Oh, I think number one was the food. You can see from the time I started and the time I finished I probably gained 10 to 15 pounds. And out craft service guy kept bringing out like hot delicious morsels every single day.” She goes on to talk about working with the ladies and on this show to say, “It’s also great to see everyone’s range of acting which is really impressive. I’m just a fan!”

For God Sakes, why can’t Heather finish her song? Gubelmann said, “The writers really wanted that to happen. It just didn’t end up happening.I actually ended up recording the entire song. We even talked about doing a music video of it.” Her hope is for the possibility of season 2 that she is able to sing her song and make the music video to go with it.

The ladies gave their predictions for their characters and some of the ladies want a more darker turn for their character. Guaty “I really want Nina to go bad. I want her to rouge. I kinda want the Pulitzer to deeper. Like did the guy disappear? Or did she do something to really get it?” She always plays the good girl, the one that tugs at our heartstrings and even though she’s used to it she wants to go darker. “I wanna play character that really people hate. I mean people already hate her.” She continues. “I want her to be more calculating.”

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder Welcome Bodhi Soleli Reed Somerhalder

By Becca Brown

Another Hollywood baby has been born! It was recently announced by Twilight’s Nikki Reed and The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder that their baby Bodhi Soleli [meaning awakening of the sun] Reed Somerhalder was born on July 25th.

The couple kept Bodhi’s birth under wraps for about two and a half weeks which didn’t come as a shock after Reed told Fit Pregnancy “We’ll take the baby’s first month for ourselves, “After the baby arrives, we’re doing one month of silence. Just the three of us, no visitors, and we’re turning off our phones too, so there’s no expectation for us to communicate.” the couple’s goal was to be fully present in the baby’s life for it’s first couple of weeks which in this day and age can really only be achieved with radio silence.

The birth of Bodhi wasn’t the only time the couple has been secretive, the couple kept the sex of the baby secretive during their pregnancy and even waited to tell family and friends. “We waited months to tell even friends and family that we were expecting. It started out with us not knowing how long we’d keep it private. Then it started to feel like we had this really cool thing, a secret with just each other. The downside was that I had moments of wishing I could do things other pregnant mamas were doing. But the upside was that we started the journey without having to open up about it to anyone else, and that made it special.”

Michael Conor and Chance Perez tell the truth about their experience with Devin Hayes

By Stephen Lovegrove

On Episode 8 of ABC’s Boy Band, Devin Hayes, 18 year old contestant from Springfield, IL was eliminated. His elimination was covered on the Afterbuzz TV Boy Band aftershow by Stephen Lovegrove and Suzanne Quast.

Backstage after the show, group “3rd Wheel” from ep. 8 weighed in on the elimination and provided insight to Lovegrove and Quast about their true feelings on Hayes.

Michael Conor stated, “I want to comment and touch on that, because, you know, going into this, Devin wasn’t someone who all of us really clicked with. He was somebody who there was a lot of skepticism in the air about if he was here for the right reasons. I know personally he just didn’t give off a good vibe to me. But this past week we settled everything, and I went out to dinner with him and talked to him about everything, and he brought us all into his room to tell us that he felt like he wasn’t doing enough to be part of the group. You know, Chance was like his best friend, and he didn’t really talk to us that much, but you know, for him doing that, I mean, I just couldn’t help but respect it.”

Conor went on to say, “I was so glad he did that, because I never want to …. I didn’t want to come into this competition … you know we’re all supposed to be forming a band; we’re supposed to be like touring the world together, so the fact that he did that was just such a relief to me. I respect him so much for that – there’s no ill feelings”

Hayes’ roommate Chance Perez had some insights as well: “I’ve been roommates with him since we got back here for over a month, and not everyone sees the side of Devin that I get to see. Like, he’s been doing stuff in front of the camera for his whole life – he puts on a show when it happens, and he’s like kinda isolated. So not everyone sees how kind and genuine he can be, and when he pulled everyone into his room to say, ‘you know, I don’t feel that close to you guys, and I wanna be,’ you know that takes a big man to get everyone in there and talk about it.”

Marcus Pendleton reassured fans that he has a “lot of respect for [Devin]” and that “he’s going to be missed.”

Perez ended the conversation by saying, “He pulled us into his room a little too late for all of us to be close to him, and I think that might have been part of it, but I wish people could have seen it sooner.”

Dominique Perry Talks Her Villainous Role on HBO’s Insecure

By Mariel Turner

Dominique Perry made an appearance on Black Hollywood Live’s Insecure After Show, where she was interviewed by hosts Mariel Turner and Ashley Allen. Over the course of the hour-long interview, she shared how she copes with hate mail from fans regarding her character, Tasha, her thoughts on the show’s executive producer Issa Rae and how she ditched a first date when she got the news about her role.

“At first it was overwhelming because I’ve never played a character that is so the villain to other women,” said Perry. “But I count it all as joy. I’m just glad to be in the position to even be Tasha. To even have the attention, whether it’s good or bad, I just embrace it.”

In fact, Perry was so excited about the role that she abruptly left a first date when she received the news that she had secured the part.

“I will never forget; I was on a semi-date! It was my first date with him,” said Perry. “He was so sweet. We were at dinner and I left Daniel [her date] at the table, went in that bathroom and got on my knees and just thanked God. I was so excited. That’s basically how I celebrated, I kind of left Daniel at the table. Shoutout to Daniel, I’m sorry!”

Perry also gave a glowing acknowledgement of Insecure executive producer and creator Issa Rae during her interview. Although Rae plays Perry’s rival on the show there is nothing but respect and love between the ladies off set.

“To be able to be with Issa all the time and she’s such my ‘shero’,” Perry said. “I admire her so much; she’s another sister to me. I’m in awe whenever I see it, whenever I watch it, whenever I’m around the people.”

“I wouldn’t have wanted to be on another show starting out my career because it really gave me a platform. I love Issa so much, and HBO, for giving me the wings on this amazing show,” Perry added.

The interview also touched on production specifics about the show, how Perry relates to her character, Tasha, and working with many of the special guests on the show.

Stars Of Lifetime’s new Show “GROWING UP SUPERMODEL” Talk About Life In The Limelight

By: Morgan Willet

STARS OF LIFETIME’S NEW SHOW “GROWING UP SUPERMODEL” TALK ABOUT LIFE IN THE LIMELIGHT

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AFTERBUZZ TV’S SPOTLIGHT ON

Up-and-coming supermodels Cairo Peele and sister duo Cambrie and Faith Schroder were the special guests on this week’s AfterBuzz TV’s Spotlight On. They talked about what it’s like growing up with famous parents and starring in the new show, “Growing Up Supermodel” that premieres Wednesday, Aug. 16. Stream it on YouTube: https://youtu.be/OMtfhOaQd7k?list=PL6THzna6gLceuH3CwILF5MTLJ2UFIJ49Hor with highlights below:

Peele talked about wanting the show to shine a light on their hard work. He offered, “ I’m excited for the world to see that just because we have celebrity parents, we are not put on a pedestal and we have struggles that we go through as well. We still too have trials and tribulations, just like Cambrie said, when it comes to having to put in work to get jobs, it doesn’t just come to us because of our parents.”

Faith Schroder’s offered some feelings as to what is what like getting used to the camera: “It took awhile to get used to. It’s weird having three big cameras following you. There was one time where I cried and I tried so hard not to cry all season because I hate crying in front of anyone. The moment I did I just broke down and I just felt uncomfortable. But by the end we (the camera crew) got really close!”

One of the most interesting challenges about entering reality for Cambrie Schroder was the televising of her parent’s divorce.  “I think it is going to help people be more relatable. Just to show that we go through the exact same stuff that every other teenager goes through with their families. It’ll help the audience bond with us more because they can see we struggle through things. For the longest time I would deny any issues that my family would have just because there was like, an image to withhold. And this show was totally just like, ‘Here it is, here we are!’

Peele’s upbringing was interesting, as her mom was a supermodel. She offered, “At one point in my life I was kind of sick of when people would hear, ‘Oh Beverley Peele’s daughter’ and they’re expecting this 6-foot-1 amazon as well and you know, I’m only 5’7” and I’m definitely proportioned differently than she is. We have two different fingerprints, that’s all I have to say. People will now know who Cairo Peele is for Cairo Peele.”

The Schroder Sisters Met The Cast And Didn’t Like PeeleCheck out their conversation from the show:

Faith: We thought she was going to cause drama and be super aggressive.

Cambrie: Because she introduces herself and is like “Yeah I’m Cairo and I can be a “B,” and I am honest and I’m blunt,” and we were like, “Oh God.”

Peele: That is what it is! But they understood that it was more from a genuine place. At the end of it.

Cambrie: At the end, we for sure bonded with Cairo the most. We were best friends with her.

But in the end, Faith Schroder says that most of the drama didn’t actually come from the models: “There was one mom we didn’t get along with.  Actually most of the drama came from the moms. My mom especially started a lot of the drama. But I think she grew a lot in this process and I hope that everyone can just see the good side of her and see what she was going through.”

Jordan Wisely talk about MTV’s “The Challenge: XXX Dirty Thirty”

By Jenna Bussiere

MTV veteran Jordan Wiseley was a guest on Afterbuzz TV’s The Challenge after show this week where he gave behind the scenes dirt on this season of the reality series: ‘The Challenge: XXX Dirty Thirty.’

Wiseley held nothing back when talking about the other competitors in the house and gave his perspective on the argument that occurred between Tony Raines and Cara Maria Sorbello on Episode 4 ‘Dirty Deeds.’
“It’s not that she’s a girl,” he said, “It’s that you spoke up first so you’re about to get drunk Tony.” He continued to discuss Sorbello, stating “Every single time that’s what [Cara] goes to. Its ‘I’m the best girl here, everyone wants me.’ No we don’t.”

Another key aspect of this week’s episode was when the females in the house decided to split up the partnership of Jenna Compono and Kaliah Casillas by throwing them into elimination against each other. Wisely discussed why the house voted her in.

“I think it’s mostly the girls that don’t like her, right? Cause she states her mind. She speaks up. She’s not scared. She doesn’t do the whole hierarchy system.”

The Rivals II winner told hosts Paulina Aguilar, Jenna Bussiere, Pamela Gross and David Christopher that this would be his last season participating in The Challenge.

“I will never do another Challenge,” Wiesley said, with charity being the exception. “The situation is an incubator. We have zero connection to news. We don’t know what’s going on.” He ended with, “Prisoners have more rights than we do.”
Wiesley also talked about his relationship with Johnny Bananas and part of this week’s deliberation that did not make TV. You can watch the full after show on YouTube.com and catch AfterBuzz TV’s The Challenge recaps everyday Tuesday at 10pm PST.

Two Worlds Collide: The “Empire” and “Star” Casts Sing Hit Song “You’re So Beautiful”

By Becca Brown

An Empire and Star crossover has officially happened, but it’s a different kind of crossover than you might be used to. To announce it’s pair up on Wednesday night’s on Fox starting on September 27th, stars of both Lee Daniels shows including Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Trai Byers, Serayah, Queen Latifah, and Benjamin Bratt came together to record a cover for an Empire season one hit song “You’re SoBeautiful”.

“It’s nice for us to have this overlap of Star and Empire,” said Empire star Howard about the collaboration. Star’s Jude Demorest added, “To be able to work with and get to know Jussie and Yazz and Serayah is just really cool, even for viewers to see that kinda collide.” Fans will also be happy to know that the chemistry between Hensen and Latifah on set of the video was one hundred percent real. “It was just pure fun,” Latifah said.

“The two sets of casts obviously live in two different worlds: Atlanta where Star and her girls are at they’re aspiring to get to the level of an Empire. They get in the studio and they are dreaming about performing with Jamal.” said director Chris Robinson about the plot of the video. Hosts Tiege and Carla Attend First SYTYCD Live Show for Season 14

By Tiege Dooley-Panko

Excitement was in the air on the red carpet after the first live show of SYTYCD Season 14. AfterBuzz TV spoke with Allstars, contestants, and judges about how the season is going so far.

Vanessa Hudgens told ABTV host Carla Renata, “I told myself I wasn’t going to cry tonight and I totally cried.” while Nigel Lythgoe said he thought all of the performers gave their best during the first live show, “they are far better than I anticipated.”

After taking two seasons off, Mary Murphy, the driver of the hot tamale train, is back! Murphy said she is very happy about who the Allstars chose to bring to the live show. She told ABTV, “ I feel like everybody did a good job in the chemistry department because that’s not always the case.”

The contestants were bright eyed and laughing together after the performances. Allstars Robert and Taylor performed a stunning piece choreographed by Travis Wall that had everyone talking after the show. Mary Murphy said it was instantly one of her top ten favorite performances ever. Robert told ABTV, “it felt like I blacked out for a second,” he continued, “it was that perfect thing that happens when you look at each other and you know each other and know the story line between each other’s heart and soul.” Taylor said if people consider their performance history, she’s honored.

Mark and Comfort performed an energetic hip-hop piece choreographed by the highly accredited choreographer, Luther Brown. Mark talked to ABTV about how grateful he was to be there and that he knows that’s where he’s supposed to be. “Every day I’m just taking things in like seeing my name tag on my shirt,” Mark said, “that hypes me up, yo.”

Robert Green and Allstar Jasmine performed an upbeat hip-hop by Chris Scott with fake hairspray that left everyone in the crowd grooving! Green said he’s been loving the whole experience and has a few tricks up his sleeve for the coming weeks. “Just be on the look out because I might have some looks in the closet that I might be pulling out of the trunk,” Green said about incorporating his style into the show.

Allstar Marko and Koine looked like they’d been dancing together for years in a piece choreographed by Stacey Tookey. Marko and Koine both told ABTV that they have a really good connection. Marko said, “ I always follow my gut and since academy week, the opening routine, saw her, felt it, followed my gut.” Allstar Allison hurt her shoulder during rehearsal with Logan so former SYTYCD contestant, Audrey Case, stepped up and performed Tyce Diorio’s contemporary piece with Logan.

Audrey only had a few hours to learn the routine but no one in the crowd could tell, the judges reacted positively to it and Logan said he is just so happy to be in the competition. Logan told ABTV, “ I couldn’t have asked for a better partner and even through this whole accident with the shoulder injury and when Audrey had to come in and learn the dance, she (Allison) was super supportive.” Audrey said that being able to watch from the other side, made her appreciate SYTYCD even more and her partner, Logan.

Allstar Cyrus and Kaylee performed a contemporary piece by Tessandra Chavez and the judges suggested they might have some work to do going forward if they want to win. Cyrus and Kaylee told ABTV that motivated them. Kaylee said she came to SYTYCD to challenge herself and that’s why she chose Cyrus.

Will Tudor Gives Shadowhunters Fans An Inside Look Into Playing One Of The Most Evil Characters On TV!

By Sam Davidson

The newest member of the Shadowhunter family, Will Tudor, spoke with Afterbuzz TV hosts Sam Davidson and Becca Brown via Skype.   The London based actor plays the role of Sebastian aka Jonathan, Clary’s long lost brother.  His character was introduced to us as a conflicted villain, that might have some good left in him.  However after last week’s episode, the audience and characters are absolutely certain that any good Sebastian had in him has been gone for a very long time.  With that being said, the way Tudor plays the role still brings a sense of humanity to such an evil character.  Tudor spoke about his character’s flaws, but also his relateability, which has a great deal to do with the writing on the show.  “He is somebody who is very flawed, and he does these things where we go ‘oh no, no no,’ but then it is so cleverly written because you see where he is coming from, but at the same time you think ‘I am absolutely horrified by that.’  It’s very smart, and I feel really lucky to have worked with those scripts.”

As Shadowhutners is based on the Cassandra Clare book series, all of these characters came with a ton of expectations from the fans, which in turn puts a lot of pressure on the actors.  When asked how these expectations effected his preparation for the role, Tudor said, “I knew of the character before even auditioning for this.  It was daunting, but the vision that was set out by the writers is so clear and brilliant and I always felt the way for me to find the best way to do it and serve the fans and source material best, is to kind of do what comes instinctually.  And I hope that translated!”

Fans definitely agree that not only did Tudor’s exceptional portrayal of Sebastian/Jonathan translate, but they couldn’t have imagined a better actor for the role.  Don’t forget to catch the Shadowhunters aftershow on Tuesdays at 6pm PST! on Afterbuzz TV. Watch our full interview with Tudor HERE:

A Quick Strike Doesn’t Spare Bolling

By: Jeff Graham

One wonders if “Sexual Harrasment” would appear under the Webster’s thesaurus entry for “Fox News.” In the last year, not one, but two major sexual harassment have reared their heads in the world of the right-winged cable news giant. The first of course, is Mr. Bill O’Reilly himself, but the second, comes in the form of Eric Bolling, who made frequent appearances on O’Reilly’s show.

“Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is currently underway,” the network said in a statement.

Some say that apparently predatory culture fostered under CEO Roger Ailes is the reason for the rapid increase in sexual assault cases, and the company is trying to purge itself of the image as quickly and efficiently as possible.

“Over most of last year, we had six of the top eight management positions turn over, and three of the four primetime people left. Some of that has been planned, but most has been unplanned. We’ve had big shifts,” Abernethy told Variety last month. “We have been tasked with putting in new people and training people and sending a signal that there’s a new environment.”

‘MADAM SECRETARY’ STAR KATHRINE HERZER TALKS ON-SET NICKNAMES, SET SOUVENIRS AND KEEPING A LOW PROFILE.

By: Zoe Hewitt

Los Angeles, CA, August 2, 2017 –(afterbuzztv.com)–Kathrine Herzer from “Madam Secretary” talks her on-set nickname, things she has taken from set and keeping a low profile at New York University where she attends school.

HERZER on NICKNAMES:

Herzer says, “I was called ‘Girl’ [for the 1st season] and it translated into my nickname with the camera guys, which is Deep Girl because for the first few episodes I was always Deep and I was always Girl. …Deep as in in the back…we like a lot of movement in our scenes, that’s very real. …So the first few episodes I was always sulking at the dining room table, so they put me at the dining room table and would start [the cameras] on the other side.”

HERZER on SOUVENIRS:

Herzer says, “I’m going to get myself in trouble here…a pair of slippers once ‘fell off the truck’.  For some reason they happened to fall off the truck and into my purse and I wear them. …They were Ugg slippers, they were really nice slippers and I needed a pair.”

HERZER on KEEPING A LOW PROFILE:

Herzer says, “I’m creating my own path and learning what I want to do. …I’ve had friends that didn’t even know I was an actress.  It’s important to me not to get it too muddled because people do look at it differently sometimes.”

Patricia Heaton Says Decision to End ‘The Middle’ Was ‘Mutual’

By: Taylor Gates

“The Middle” is coming to an end. ABC recently announced that their long-running comedy would be coming to a close after nine seasons. It’s certainly sad news, but Patricia Heaton—who plays matriarch Frankie Heck in the middle class, somewhat dysfunctional family living in the Midwest—took to Facebook Live to address fans and assure them the news isn’t all bad.

“It was a mutual decision between the writers and the actors and the producers and the network and the studio,” Heaton said of the choice to end things after the upcoming season. “Everybody weighed in, and I think mainly we felt that we’ve told a beautiful story about this wonderful family and that it’s time to wrap it up. It’s similar to ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ in that we want it to go out on a high note when people are still excited about the show…I think we’re picking the right time to go.”

Heaton also recognized that the show has been on for nearly a decade and will break 200 episodes before its end—milestones that few series ever get close to reaching. “It’s gonna be a great season. We’re gonna be celebrating our 200th episode in October.”

The actress praised ABC for allowing them to have a heads-up so that the writers could give the characters a satisfying conclusion. “You, the fans, deserve to have the show properly sent off.” She also revealed that, while the actors know very little about where their characters will end up, they’re excited to see where they land.

Heaton vowed to document and share behind-the-scenes videos during the last batch of episodes. “We’ll do this final season together,” she promised.

The ninth and final season of “The Middle” premieres October 3rd on ABC.

‘Will & Grace’ Cast Talks Shooting Revival—‘It Feels Like No Time Has Passed’

By: Taylor Gates

Break out the vodka, honey—“Will & Grace” is officially back! Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes celebrated their first day back on set in an epic way.

In true Jack McFarland fashion, Hayes grabbed McCormack and made out with him as confetti rained down during a press event. “It’s just like riding a bike,” McCormack announced after the kiss.

Mullally echoed his sentiment, sharing how easily they reconnected at the first table read back. “I always thought about the four of us as being like an orchestra,” she said, “each of us playing a different instrument and creating a musicality together. When we started playing the music again, it was like, ‘Oh!'”

“This guy is the Sonny to my Cher, the Tic to my Tac, the Mork to my Mindy,” Messing captioned an Instagram photo of her and McCormack. “Partners in crime and in everything else. It feels like no time has passed. That’s how you know you’re family.”

“Will & Grace” returns September 28th at 9/8c on NBC.

‘Better Things’ News—Four Sneak Peeks Released, Pamela Adlon Selects Emmy Episode

By: Taylor Gates

Pamela Adlon was “stunned” when she scored an Emmy nomination for her performance in “Better Things.” The FX comedy is close to her heart—not only did she co-create the show and loosely base it on her life, but she also acts, writes, directs, and executive produces the series.

“I cried for almost an hour straight when I heard,” Adlon told Deadline “I’ve been acting my whole life. I’ve always been bringing up the rear—like, the side character—just wanting to keep working, never part of the Big Boys Club. So this is unbelievable for me.”

Adlon recently revealed to Gold Derby the episode she chose to submit. “Future Fever,” the sixth episode of the program, centers around Adlon’s character Sam talking to eldest daughter Max (Mikey Madison) about her fear of growing up and about making it in the real world. The installment is a highlight of the series, seamlessly blending drama and comedy.

Though the second season doesn’t premiere until September 14th, FX has released four small teaser clips to tide fans over: Sam rejects a man at a bar, buys groceries, gets put on hold, and refuses to adopt a Syrian refugee. All in a day’s work.

Snyder: “It’s something as fan you really wanted to see. You wanted to see someone fully shapeshift and I was glad it was Derek.”
Malaty: “It’s cool.”
Fan Segment:
Malaty: “Everyone who is a fan of “Teen Wolf” is–is a pack.”

Malaty: “This just adds more diversity and coolness to the pack as a whole.”

5). “I’m an alpha now.”
Snyder: This moment of Scott becoming a true Alpha and breaking through the Mountain Ash is so important because most Alphas have to actually kill another Alpha in order to become an Alpha.”

4). “I didn’t say it back.” [The Stiles and Lydia kiss]
Malaty: “Stydia is so sweet. I think I wanna add them to my morning coffee.”
Malaty: “You don’t even have to be a fan of “Teen Wolf” to recognize how powerful this scene is.”

3). “But we call him Stiles.” [Longest running Teen Wolf question. What is Stiles first name? Mieczyslaw]
Malaty: “We’ve been waiting for it, we’ve been wanting it and now that we have it we can’t pronounce it.”

2). “I’m in the arms of my first love.” [Allison dying]
Malaty: “I think this moment was raising the stakes for the show.”

Bonus Moment
Snyder: “This is where the teen becomes the wolf.”
Malaty: “This is the scene that really pulls you into the show.”
Snyder: “It’s a huge moment in Teen Wolf history that needs to be part of this top 10.”

1). “Scott you’re my brother.” [Scott and Stiles friendship]
Malaty: That was like what forged them into more than just a pack, you know.”
Snyder: “It strengthened their bond, I mean so much of the show is Scott saving Stiles and in this scene we see Stiles saves Scott.”

Meghann Fahy Talks ‘The Bold Type’ on AfterBuzz TV

By Becca Brown

Are you looking for a show that contains fashion, great music, and strong female characters? If so, tune in to Freeform on Tuesdays at 9/8c for “The Bold Type.” This past Friday, hosts Ally Nasta, Karla Beltran, Becca Brown, and Taylor Gates talked about all three and more with star Meghann Fahy, aka Sutton Brady herself!

When asked about the fashion on the show, Fahy praised costume designer Frank Fleming. “He’s a genius,” she said bluntly. As we’ve seen on the show, the characters outfits serve as a form of self-expression. Fahy told us that for Fleming getting their personalities across through the way they dress is something he strives for. “What’s most important for him is that we feel comfortable and confident and good in what we’re wearing.”

Fahy, who starred in the Broadway musical “Next To Normal” and has a singing background, told a fan she was totally down for a musical episode. “We’ve talked about it a lot. I’m hoping that we talk about it so much that they’re like, ‘now we have to do it.’” Fahy even told us that Aisha Dee (Kat) plays the drums and ukulele, while Katie Stevens (Jane) sings and writes songs as well as previously appearing in Kathryn Merteuil’s “Cruel Intentions” musical in Los Angeles.

If you’ve watched episodes one through four of “The Bold Type,” you know that the show is very female-driven in the way it depicts three bold young women chasing their dreams and balancing day-to-day life in the workplace. Unlike many popular young adult dramas, the show doesn’t portray cattiness or competition among the girls, but instead focuses on them supporting one another. Fahy confirmed that, not only are these positive relationships a breath of fresh air, but the friendship displayed on screen between them is 100% real off-screen too. “It really is an authentic connection that we have. I don’t think you can fake that kind of chemistry. We’ve only known each other for a little over a year at this point, but it feels like it’s forever.” said Fahy.

Make sure to catch “The Bold Type” after show every Tuesday at 10pm PT on AfterBuzz TV’s YouTube and iTunes channels. You can check out our full conversation with Meghann Fahy below.

11 Things We Learned from ‘The Bold Type’ Writers’ Twitter Q&A

By: Taylor Gates

In case you missed it, “The Bold Type” writers did a quick Twitter Q&A between loads of laundry this weekend. Here are 11 things we learned while they were washing their clothes.

1. The show is mostly shot in Canada. The pilot was filmed in Toronto and the rest was primarily done in Montreal. Only a few scenes were actually shot in New York.

2. The actors’ personalities seep into the characters. Particularly their speech patterns.

3. Kat is 25. However, a specific birth date has not yet been revealed.

4. Jane loves hardcore rap. She also prefers puppies to kittens. Snoop Dogg and cute dogs, am I right?

5. Sutton is the mom friend. She would also survive the longest in a zombie apocalypse. Makes sense—the mom friends are the ones with all the Tylenol and band-aids.

6. Don’t expect to see flashbacks. According to the writers, they’re not part of the show’s structure.

7. Jacqueline is married, and we’ll get to meet her husband this season. According to an ATX Television Festival panel, he’ll be played by Melora Hardin’s real-life husband Gildart Jackson. (*swoon*) And they filmed a scene where they celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary…on the same day as Hardin and Jackson’s real-life 20th wedding anniversary. (*double swoon*)

8. We’ll find out more about Jane’s mom. Can’t see that relationship being simple…

9. Jane, Kat, Sutton, Jacqueline, and Alex are the only series regulars this season. Which means love interests Pinstripe, Adena, and Richard are all just reoccurring as of right now.

10. The infamous yoni egg incident was inspired by true events. Yikes.

11. The writers are basically real-life Jacquelines. “Form strong relationships, announce what you want respectfully, and when the time is right, call in favors,” they advised young women looking for career advice. Solid, inspiring tips.

How are you liking “The Bold Type” so far? What do you hope to see this season? Tell us below in the comments!

Transgender Veteran Shane Ortega: The Pentagon Was Blindsided by Trump’s Ban

Jeffrey Masters interviews Shane Ortega on LGBTQ&A

By: Jeffrey Masters

In an interview on LGBTQ&A with Jeffrey Masters, Shane Ortega (the first transgender person to serve openly in the military) discusses Donald Trump’s announcement banning transgender people from serving in the military. He talks about how the Pentagon was blindsided, why people are already afraid to come out in the military, and explains why trans people are not a burden.

Click here to listen to the full interview.

LGBTQ&A with Jeffrey Masters is an interview series that documents the stories of the LGBTQ community. Previous guests include Asia Kate Dillon, Ross Mathews, Trixie Mattel, Laura Jane Grace, Jennifer Finney Boylan, Nico Tortorella, Peter Paige, Cleve Jones, and Shane Ortega.

Shane Ortega says the Pentagon was blindsided by President Trump’s announcement:

“Donald Trump had actually not even referred to the Joint Chiefs of Staff when making this decision. He claims that he talked to officials and generals about it and actually the entire Pentagon was blindsided.”

Shane talks about the reaction from active service people:

“The fear is that they’ll get a bad conduct discharge which means that they wouldn’t be able to get any sort of employment and that they wouldn’t have any access to any veteran’s benefits. A lot of people would be crushed.”

Shane says people are already afraid to come out so the estimated number of transgender people serving is most likely higher:

“The Trump climate has bred a more intense and traumatic atmosphere for people serving. There are not as many people coming out, so I believe that number is quite higher.”

Shane says this is a distraction and being used to pit Americans against each other:

“He’s using this as a distraction from his impending impeachment. He’s also using this as a tactic to pit the American people against each other. He’s starting with these marginalized groups and radicalizing small towns folk that voted for him and he’s trying to basically enforce a tyrannical reign that’s unconstitutional. That’s really what’s going on here.”

Shane disputes that transgender people are a burden:

“Transgender people are not a burden. I would say that, if anything, most military folk who are transgender are somewhat OCD and a bit of over-achievers. If anything they’re bringing their units up by being those work horses. But to say that transgender people in the civilian population are a burden, they are not a burden. They just don’t necessarily have the accessibility due to the ignorance of our society and that’s what saddens me the most.

I’m just afraid for the service members and their families. I’m afraid for the American public. Once we can attack such a professional institution like the military, that means that no one is ever going to live up to the standards of whatever it is in Donald Trump’s eyes you need to be considered human and worthy of the ability to thrive or get access to education or healthcare. No one will meet that measure and that’s scary.”

Shane talks about how diverse the military is:

“The United States Military is the most diverse employment institution in the entire country. That means we have people with multitudes of ethnic backgrounds, we have people with multitudes of income levels and education levels, male and female, and obviously transgender people. And then we have the largest employment of LGBT people across any company or organization.”

Miley Cyrus Opens Up About Child Stardom and Being a Female in Hollywood

By: Marina Varano

At one point, Miley Cyrus was TV’s most desired southern belle. Now the 24-year-old Malibu singer has opened up about the process of finding herself and the effect child stardom had on her growing up.

Notoriously known for dancing on Robin Thicke while wearing close to nothing and sticking her tongue out, the star shared that those controversial actions were a phase, saying she has since changed.  She blames being a child star and constantly being told how to dress for making her the sexualized young woman she was portraying at the time.

“I didn’t realize how much pressure I was under and how that shaped me until, like, this year,” Cyrus stated.

Cyrus agrees with Beyonce in her belief that girls run the world. “That was an important thing to say because I think subconsciously we are beaten down to believe that it isn’t true our whole lives,” said Cyrus. “It’s no wonder that a lot of people lose their way and lose who they really are because they always have people telling them who to be.”

Nicole Kidman, HBO Talk ‘Big Little Lies’ Season 2—‘We’re Working on It’

By: Taylor Gates

Get ready for more trivia nights, beach jogs, and Blue Blues coffee—“Big Little Lies” might be back for round two.

Though a second season pickup for the HBO series hasn’t officially been announced, the network’s Programming President Casey Bloys offered some words of encouragement for fans itching to return to Monterey. Bloys revealed that author Liane Moriarty is currently brainstorming ways to continue the plot—a highly unorthodox occurrence in Hollywood. “I’ll be very curious to see what she comes up with that. Normally you go to a TV writer and say, ‘What do you see?’…I don’t think [there’s been] a time when we’ve gone to the writer of the novel, the source material, to come up with like, ‘Do you see ongoing stories?’”

The show stars Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Shailene Woodley as well as Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz, and Alexander Skarsgård and has just scored a whopping eight Emmy nominations. Kidman and Witherspoon also act as executive producers and have been outspoken about their wish to revisit the series. But despite the show’s critical success, co-executive producer/director Jean-Marc Vallée has been much more hesitant to dive back in.

“There is no way. There’s no reason to make a Season 2,” Vallée said bluntly. “That was meant to be a one-time deal, and it’s finishing in a way where it’s for the audience to imagine what can happen.”

But Bloys thinks there’s a possibility that he could change his tune. “Nicole and Reese can be very persuasive,” he laughed.

The two do seem to be determined. When asked about a sophomore run, Kidman assured audiences they were “working on it” and “really want” it to happen, even collaborating with Moriarty on potential directions it could go. However, Kidman promised they weren’t rushing into or forcing anything. “We’ve always said we only want to do it if it can really warrant it.”

“First we have to see the material and see if it’s worth everyone’s time,” Bloys added. “And if it is, [we’ll have a] conversation about directors.”

David Harbour, Ross Duffer Talk ‘Stranger Things’ Ending—‘We’re Going to Get Out Before We’ve Worn Out Our Welcome’

By: Taylor Gates

A sad thing was revealed for “Stranger Things” fans at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend. Actor David Harbour and co-creator Ross Duffer both confirmed that the Emmy-nominated show would likely end after four or five seasons.

“We don’t have an open-ended thing like ‘The Walking Dead,’” Harbour told TVLine. “There is an end to all these characters…We’re going to give you something fun and then we’re going to get out before we’ve worn out our welcome. We have a specific story that we’re going to tell.”

“In terms of exact number of seasons we’re not sure,” added Duffer before hinting that four or five seemed like a sweet spot. “I know that [co-creator] Matt and I wanna stick with it and just sort of finish it out. But again we don’t want to linger too long, we just want to tell the story that we want to tell and get out. Hopefully people are like, ‘I want more!’ and that’s great, but that’s sort of how we want to leave it.”

Duffer also talked about how season 2 would set the tone for the rest of the series. “We sort of have a rough plan,” he teased. “I think the important thing for us was to really start to lay the groundwork this season for what would be the arc for the rest of the show.”

The second season of “Stranger Things” hits Netflix October 27th.

Grace Park Attends Comic-Con’s ‘Battlestar Galactica’ Reunion Panel, Discusses ‘Hawaii Five-0’ Exit

By: Ali Marashi

After recently leaving “Hawaii 5-0,” actress Grace Park attended San Diego Comic-Con 2017 for a “Battlestar Galactica” reunion panel. Park played Kono Kalakaua on “Hawaii Five-0” since season one but made the decision to exit last month along with Daniel Dae Kim after their request for pay equal to that of their co-stars was reportedly turned down.

During the “Battlestar” panel, Parker revealed how she came to the decision to attend Comic-Con despite all the drama and speculation surrounding her exit from the CBS procedural.

“I think the main thing is I knew I was here for ‘Battlestar’ and I really wanted to see my co-stars, producers, and creators,” she said. “I think there’s a lot of questions that people have. I certainly have a lot of feelings and experiences, but we’re going to focus on ‘Battlestar…'” she told E! News at Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-Con Bash.

Though fans are still not sure how the producers of “Hawaii Five-0” plan to deal with the loss of the two characters, rumor has it their absence will be explained in the season eight premiere.

“Hawaii Five-0” returns Friday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. on CBS.

Katherine McNamara Talks ‘Shadowhunters’ Season 2 Finale—It’s ‘One of the Most Heartbreaking Things I’ve Ever Done’

By: Ali Marashi

San Diego Comic-Con 2017 was filled with fun and surprises. In the midst of the excitement, Katherine McNamara—aka Clary Fray from “Shadowhunters,”was interviewed on the red carpet and discussed what fans can except from the season 2 finale.

This was McNamara’s first time at San Diego Comic-Con, and unfortunately she was caught breaking the cardinal rule: not wearing a costume. “Every time I’ve gone to New York Comic Con I keep a costume in my suitcase,” she explained. “I forgot this year because I packed in such a hurry!”

McNamara teased that the season 2 finale would bring major drama. “[There will be] death. I can tell you that. At least one main character is going to die in the finale. It’s crazy. [It’s like] we’re going Game of Thrones!”

She continued, calling the episode “one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever done.”

McNamara shared that she was surprised by the layers and brutality on Freeform show. “The fact that this show has grown to the point where it can have this maturity and depth and this prevalent peril all the time, I think it’s amazing and good to push the show to that point.”

“People refer to American Koko as a snack series you can binge watch in two hours.  We get in there and try to solve America’s race problems, which is no easy task” Creating race detective Akosua Millard and Amazon’s “The Climb”, which centers around a young internet celebrity, Diarra Kilpatrick is well on her way to becoming the internet’s version of Shonda Rhimes.

Casual Creator Zander Lehmann on Working with Jason Reitman, Female Directors and Writing the Show’s Main Characters

By: Elysabeth Alfano

Casual creator Zander Lehmann joined Afterbuzz TV Casual Aftershow co-hosts Elysabeth Alfano and Caley Rose to dish on working with Jason Reitman, the show’s female directors and writing the show’s main characters.  Here is the video link: https://youtu.be/ZfYnNM0_Uys .

Very casual and chill himself, the 30 year-old Creator, Executive Producer and Writer was very candid about working on the set of Casual with great talents like Tommy Dewey, Michaela Watkins and great guests like Judy Greer.  When we discussed the unique editing style so critical to the character development on Casual, Zander was quick to credit his co-Executive Producer, Jason Reitman.

(38:06) “Jason Reitman from the start has emphasized [that] when you change worlds with a different cut, change the sound volume, change the look of it, change the color. Really jarring your audience keeps them invested and engaged. Whether it’s just going from a really quiet, silent scene to a loud musical beat, where you go, ‘Oh, oh, what’s going on here?’  That keeps you involved in the world in a way that I think is necessary because if you don’t have that, you miss stuff.”

It isn’t just an incredible cast that is on Hulu’s Casual.  The string of outstanding female directors engaged by him and fellow Co-Executive Producer Helen Estabrook is notable. (33:54) “These are people that both of us have been dying to work with for forever.  So, for us, this is like a dream come true. This is like, ‘Oh, we get to hang out with Carrie Brownstein for two weeks and Lake Bell and Lynn Shelton? And like you know, Amy York Rubin and Gillian Robespierre? These are great directors and, for us, we just want to make more stuff with them. So, it’s selfish on our part. We’re like, ‘Oh, you’re great! Do our show, and then also let’s be friends and hang out!”

In the end, it is no surprise that Zander would have a heartfelt connection to the characters he has created. (11:04) “I tend to write the Alex character as well as anyone.  Most of the writing staff is women and they write the women characters a little better than I do; but, that said, I sympathize with all of the characters. I love all of them, as flawed and messed up as they are.

Is There a ‘Witches of East End’ Movie in the Works?

By: Taylor Gates

Fans were devastated when Lifetime gave their beloved supernatural series “Witches of East End” the axe after only two seasons. To make matters worse, the show ended on some serious cliffhangers. Will Freya find out that Dash has switched bodies with Killian? Who is the father of Ingrid’s baby? And how is Wendy doing in the underworld after giving up her last life to keep Tommy alive?

During an Instagram live stream this Sunday, Mädchen Amick—aka Aunt Wendy herself—teased that we might not have seen the last of the Beauchamp women.

Not only did Amick reveal that she misses playing her quirky character and working with fellow actors Rachel Boston, Jenna Dewan Tatum, and Julia Ormond, but she also shared that she and some of her co-stars have discussed approaching whoever owns the rights to “Witches of East End” about potentially developing a movie that would wrap up and expand some of the story lines.

In addition to reprising her role, Amick also hinted that, if the film were to happen, there’s a possibility she could step behind the camera as well. Amick has recently directed several music videos, including daughter Mina Tobias’ award-winning “Kings and Queens” and most recently son Sly Beetz’s “Spoken.”

Though nothing is confirmed or in the works yet, this is still great news for fans mourning the show’s cancellation and holding out hope for some answers. In the meantime, you can catch Amick in both “Riverdale” and “Twin Peaks.”

‘Supergirl’ Cast Faces Backlash Over ‘Homophobic’ Comments—‘It’s Downright Disrespectful’

By: Taylor Gates

An interview with the “Supergirl” cast was met with a less-than-super response after many social media users accused them of making homophobic comments.

During a musical recap of season 2 with MTV, actor Jeremy Jordan—who plays Winn Schott on the show—dissed fans rooting for a romantic Kara/Lena relationship. “Kara met a new girl; her name was Lena. She was the best friend a girl could ever have, but they were only friends! They’re only friends! They’re not gonna get together—they’re only friends!”

“I feel like I’m gonna get destroyed for what I just did…I just debunked SuperCorp,” he continued later in the interview. “That’s pretty brave,” Melissa Benoist responded.

Fans were not happy with their behavior, feeling like it mocked and disrespected the show’s large LGBTQA+ fanbase. “This was pretty gross. The cast wouldn’t have mocked Supercorp if Lena was a man,” said Twitter user @CalzonaKerBear. “If Lena was a man, this is the pairing they’d be running with because of the amazing chemistry,” @YankeeJosh agreed.

“This is incredibly rude to your LGBT fans,” added @Sydney562a. “It’s downright disrespectful and you’ve lost a loyal fan. #superfail.”

Jordan took to Instagram to make a statement defending his actions. “Now I apologize to anyone who took this the wrong way, but the fact that hundreds of ppl are calling my comment homophobic or putting down the lgtbq community, you are so off the mark. My track record for years has PROVEN my love and utter devotion to the lgtbq community.”

“We love ALL of our fans and encourage you to enjoy the characters and relationships in WHATEVER way u choose. My interpretation of our story is one of many, and you know what? It’s just as valid…Guys, this world is too small and life too short to try and find hidden meanings in silly jokes.”

“I know now that I made some of you feel pretty shitty, and I’m really sorry for that,” Jordan continued. “I think you can guess you’ve succeeded in making me feel the same. The difference, however, is mine was unintentional. So enough with the hate. Let us live our lives with love (and humor).”

Many people were unsatisfied with Jordan’s words, accusing him of making excuses, not accepting responsibility for his actions, and playing the victim. Later Jordan released another, more apologetic statement on Instagram.

“All your comments are breaking my heart. I’m gonna try to be better,” Jordan said. “I’m gonna make mistakes. I want to tell every one of you I’m sorry I hurt you. I would go back in time and redo my recap if I could. I would. I realize the issue of homophobia is better than any note I could ever write and many of you will never be satisfied.”
