Show Summary: Celebrity chef Aarón Sánchez joins Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi on the judging panel in the eighth season of “MasterChef.” The three culinary experts put contestants from across the country through a series of challenging elimination rounds. The amateur cooks face mystery-box challenges that require them to work with the same ingredients; team challenges (including restaurant takeovers); and the dreaded pressure tests that determine who is eliminated from the competition. In the end, only one cook wins the title, the trophy — and a lucrative prize.
