Sunday afternoon, former WWE Superstar, Shad Gaspard, 39, went missing off the coast of Venice Beach after he and his son were pulled into a rip-current in the late afternoon. News outlets reported that he directed rescuers to save his 10-year old son first.
Gaspard was known in WWE for being a part of the tag team Cryme Tyme with JTG in the mid to late 2000’s. WWE Superstars and the whole wrestling community reacted to the news coming out today as they responded with well wishes, good thoughts and memories of him. Rescuers called off search and rescue teams earlier this afternoon.
