Summer is here and with that comes a new batch of shows just waiting to be watched!

From comedies to dramas and reboots to originals, here are just a few of the upcoming shows available this summer.

Ted Lasso

Coming off an award-winning first season, Ted Lasso returns to AppleTV+, hopefully with a season just as funny and heartfelt as the first. While not much is revealed about what’s in store for the inexperienced football coach, it is confirmed that the second season will be longer than the first, adding more time to further delve into the world of Ted Lasso.

Ted Lasso will be available on AppleTV+, starting July 23

Only Murders in the Building

Only Murders in the Building is an upcoming comedy series starring Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short. Little is known about the show beyond the premise that three fans of true crime are wrapped up in a murder mystery of their own. With a cast of comedic stars, viewers can expect a thrilling, hilarious series in the works.

Only Murders in the Building will be released on Hulu August 31st.

Monsters at work

In a much-anticipated return to the Monsters Inc, Monsters at Work is a spin-off series focused on a young monster working his way through the ranks of the corporation. Many beloved characters from the original movies are set to return, such as Mike and Sully as well as the iconic Roz. There’s no doubt that fans of the previous movies will greatly enjoy the series.

Monsters at Work releases July 7th on Disney+.

Amazon Prime’s highly-popular drama is returning for its seventh and final season. As the show begins wrapping up, the final season is expected to push Detective Bosch, played by Titus Welliver, to his breaking point.

Season 7 of Bosch will be available June 25 on Amazon Prime.

The White Lotus

The White Lotus is a dark comedy about the exploits of various guests and employees at a tropical island resort and the misadventures they get into over the course of a week. HBO’s comedic venture plans to have satirical overtones and provide a wide array of social commentary.

The White Lotus will be released July 11 on HBO.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Brooklyn Nine-Nine returns with its 8th and final season, sending off the beloved characters with one last hurrah. The team behind the uber popular show plan on addressing a variety of issues in its farewell season, most notably topics such as Black Lives Matter and the COVID-19 pandemic. Needless to say, the final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is sure to be an eventful sendoff.

The final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine releases August 12 on Peacock.

Already airing on Hulu, season 2 of Dave continues delving further into the journey of Dave, played by rapper Lil Dicky. In the few episodes released already, it’s clear that season 2 of Dave plans on delving into the darker, more emotional parts of Dave’s mental state, all while balancing that with the comedy that fans have come to expect.

Season 2 of Dave is airing now on Hulu.

To the excitement (and surprise, to a certain extent) of fans of the beloved show, iCarly returns with a revival series on Paramount+. From the episodes already released, it’s evident that iCarly has grown up with its original audience, touching on topics more mature than the original, as well as throwing the classic gang into situations more fitting of their age.

iCarly is currently airing on Paramount+.

Central Park

The musical-comedy Central Park returns, hitting the ground running with 2 episodes available on its season 2 debut. The show keeps the same musical format as the previous season, with fans hoping that it keeps the same charm the show has become known for.

Central Park is available on Apple TV+ starting June 25th.

Gossip Girl

With fans of the original series excited, a reboot of Gossip Girl is dropping on HBO Max soon. Although maintaining a similar feel to the original show, the reboot promises a new perspective on the characters and setting, given the change in perspectives since the original’s release.

Gossip Girl is releasing on HBO Max July 8th.
