If you haven’t started watching Snowpiercer on TNT yet, what are you waiting for?! The drama series is a post-apocalyptic thriller based on the 2014 film of the same name, directed by Academy Award-Winner Bong Joon-ho.

Lena Hall, who plays Miss Audrey in the series, joined AfterBuzzTV’s Snowpiercer After Show on Monday afternoon with Rachel Goodman and me to chat about episode 6, Trouble Comes Sideways.

We had to take the opportunity to pick Lena’s brain about all of the madness happening in that train! We started off right away talking about Melanie, Mr. Wilford (Jennifer Connelly) and her relationship with the third class.

“Even the people who did respect the rules in third class, they have lost respect for Mr. Wilford,” Lena proclaimed.

That’s exactly what we were thinking! Lena’s character, Miss Audrey, is at odds with Melanie to support and fight for the third class. We asked Lena what it was like to film their confrontation.

“It was fun,” she shared. “The cool thing is, it’s like pointing out that you can distract a cause for a certain amount of time, but it will always come back to haunt you no matter how much you try to put a bandaid on a giant wound.”

“Miss Audrey just holds everyone’s tragedy and their pain. She holds everything on her shoulders,” she goes on to explain. “So, for Miss Audrey, she knows Melanie and is just like get your stuff together.”

We love how Lena portrays her character. It’s no surprise that she is just as powerful on screen as she is on stage. We asked her what the biggest difference is in performing in each medium.

“Live theater is interesting because you do the same thing every single night and the audience response is what’s different,” Lena explained.

“For TV and film, you get a script, you do a table read and after that table read, they just keep changing the script,” she continued. “So, no matter how much work you do beforehand, you’re never prepared for when you get to set to film your scene.”

We couldn’t let Lena leave the show without asking her which class of the train she would want to be in if she had to choose.

“I would be in the night car,” she quickly responded. “I would be Miss Audrey, 100 percent. I would never want to be in the front. I would never want to be in the back. Her situation specifically is the way to be in the train.”

We could not agree more! You can catch Lena’s stand out performance in the remaining episodes of Snowpiercer every Sunday night on TNT. Make sure to keep up with her on Instagram @lenarockerhall. Watch the full episode of her guest appearance here
