In the age of reboots, one Hollywood star is hoping her hit movie makes a return.
Tia Carrere, who starred alongside Mike Myers and Dana Carvey in Wayne’s World 1 and 2, said she’s all in for a third installment of the series.
“Of course I would be on board! Are you kidding? They, they’d have to come and pull me out of, you know, a, a tiki bar in Hawaii probably, where I’m, uh, you know, singing there and then they would bring me back to rock and roll,” said Carrere, while speaking on Popcorn Talk Network’s I Could Never Be.
When asked what the plot of the third movie would be, Carrere suggested Wayne and Garth would be working in TV.
“I can’t imagine where these two [Wayne and Garth], where these older people, at this point,” said Carrere, “if they’re still living in a basement somewhere, it’s just sad. It’s just a sad, sad story…Unless they’re TV repairmen or something, I don’t know. Maybe they work local news. They got a local news show.”
Both Myers and Carvey have previously said they’d act in a third movie, but nothing has officially been announced.
