Founded by Emmy winning journalist Maria Menounos and Producer Keven Undergaro, AfterBuzz TV is the artist-friendly entertainment news platform that celebrates, discusses, interviews, promotes and reports on the widest range of stars, creators and content through video, audio and article publications.

Some celebrities have been quiet on social media during these times of protest, and fans have been loudly calling for these celebrities to use their platform to speak out on the matter. Other celebrities have already used their platform to support the #BlackLivesMatter movement through their social platforms and/or through monetary donations. But, a few celebrities have taken their support to the next level by actually joining the movement on the ground and joining in on the nationwide protests.

ARIANA GRANDE

Ariana Grande was seen at the Los Angeles protests this weekend, marching in support of the BLM movement, as she’s done for other civil rights protests in the past. All we have to say is thank u, Ari.

JEFF WITTEK

YouTuber and celebrity barber Jeff Wittek also marched to show his support, and unfortunately suffered some nasty injuries in the process.

SHERRY COLA

If this star’s support of the movement got her in some (Good) Trouble, she wouldn’t mind. Good Trouble star Sherry Cola was among the many in attendance at the L.A. march.

JAZ SINCLAIR & ROSS LYNCH

One of our favorite Netflix couples, Jaz Sinclair & Ross Lynch, joined the peaceful protests this weekend, and Jaz even took to her IG to share a chilling and powerful post of her own.

HALSEY

Halsey told the world it’s “Now Or Never”, when she joined the protests and showed her support. The artist even shared that she was safe on social media, when fans thought she was arrested for her protest efforts.

TINASHE

Another Pop Diva who joined the fight was Tinashe. The “2 On” singer told the world it’s “All Hands On Deck” in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

MICHAEL B. JORDAN

This Creed star wasn’t fighting with boxing gloves, but instead he was joining the fight through marching and peacefully protesting along with many others.

These are just some of the many celebrities who were out on the frontlines marching in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, while protesting the unfortunate and unjust death of George Floyd and other black lives. If you’ve seen any other celebrities showing their support and joining the protests, let us know.

We here at AfterBuzz TV are fully in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, so continue to tune in to our network daily for more coverage like this and more from the pop culture and entertainment world.
