Jensen Ackles [Dean Winchester] and his wife Daneel [Anael/ Sister Jo] supported protestors who were marching peacefully for Black Lives Matter in downtown Austin, Texas. They both handed out masks, sanitizers, waters, and snacks.

“The crowd was massive. And Peaceful. But most of all…it was powerful! “It’s been a long time comin, but I know…a change gonna come. Oh yes it will.” – Sam Cooke #blacklivesmatter

Thanks Jensen and Danneel for your support of our black communities. This is where change and love starts.

Danneel also shows some love to Jensen by posting a picture of him and their children on Father’s Day. You can tell that JJ, Arrow, and Zeppelin think highly of their daddy.

“Happy Father’s Day @jensenackles Thank you for always being an example of love for our children. You are kind, thoughtful and strong, in all the ways.”

This is one of our favorite photos of Jensen and the kids. Thanks Daneel for sharing.

Genevieve Padalecki [Ruby] also shared a sweet Father’s Day post of Jared [Sam Winchester], highlighting a few of her favorite memories of Jared being a great dad.

Our favorite is when Jared and his son are on the couch and their little boy is singing the Scooby Doo theme song. We also love when Jared is saying the alphabet backwards and their son screams at the end when he got every letter right. We can tell his kids look up to him as a father.

Genevieve also practiced in sharing the mic where Bri Jenkins took over her Instagram for the day, sharing information on why it’s important to support Back Lives Matter and stating her reasons on why we need to defund the police. Bri explains in a video that doctors and lawyers go through more training than police officers and it’s time we held officers accountable for completing more training if they are committed to taking an oath to protect all citizens.

“We are afraid to get uncomfortable…change happens in uncomfortable places. You have to be willing to give up your comfort to help cause change.”

Jared Padalecki shared an eye opening Father’s Day post that the past few months he has been living in his own selfish world by not having his daily routine when he was filming Supernatural. Jared was having a hard time, realizing that he will have to say goodbye to his character Sam Winchester and the cast/crew he worked with for many seasons. But he explains that he didn’t have to say goodbye to his last breath and heartbeat.

He shares that he was grateful to be able to be quarantined with his family while others were put on the front lines everyday and then witnessing video footage of George Flyod taking his last breath through the acts of murder becasue of the color of his skin.

“This Father’s Day, I pledge to “do” everything I can to educate myself and be a better advocate for those who need help.”

We appreciate the post Jared and even though fans are sad to say goodbye to our favorite TV show we realize that we are lucky to be safe and alive. We have learned that it’s easy to take little things for granted and change needs to happen really soon in our Country. Everyone deserves equal rights.

Thank you to the stars of Supernatural for sharing your platform, so black voices can be heard and help educate us.
