We’re back, Office fans! Our favorite cast has come together in support of Black Lives Matter and we have the scoop.

Steve Carell, Janelle Monáe, and Seth Rogen were among many celebs who donated bail relief programs for protestors. According to People, Steve and Seth joined a group of celebrities who challenged each other to make matching donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, dedicated to bailing out low-income protestors in Minneapolis. Many other stars made donations to various organizations bailing out protestors around the country.

Blackout Tuesday drew much support throughout the entertainment industry. Multiple members of our Office cast participated in the movement, which encouraged participants to go silent on social media, reflect on recent events and stand in solidarity with members of the black community. The movement, and accompanying hashtag, was started in the music industry and participation was signified by a simple black square on their Instagram feed. John Krasinski, Mindy Kaling, Brian Baumgartner and Leslie David Baker were among the numerous who took part. Although Blackout Tuesday has faced some skepticism, according to Glamour, many participated and welcomed the demonstration.

Over in the Office Ladies podcast, Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer showed their support for BLM by highlighting and suggesting Black podcasters for their fans to stream. The pair recommended popular podcasts 2 Dope Queens (hosted by Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson), Best Friends with Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata, and Pod Save The People with DeRay Mckesson.

Rainn Wilson and his wife Holiday Reinhorn joined numerous celebs in attending live protests. Other celebs included John Boyega, Ariana Grande, and Halsey. The Office boasted a diverse cast and it’s no surprise that all of them would find ways to support Black Lives Matter!

Have you attended a protest? Checked out any of the podcast recommendations? Let us know! While you’re at it, be sure to check AfterBuzz TV Loves John Krasinski Weekly. Until next time, Scott’s Tots!

We here at AfterBuzz TV are in full support of the Black Lives Matter movement, so please continue to tune in to our network daily for more coverage!
