ABTV Supernatural Weekly

Hey Supernatural fans, our favorite Winchester boys are going to be saying goodbye this fall.

Supernatural announced on social media that the final seven episodes will air on the CW. We all were expecting the hit series to end this spring but we’ve been on the road with them for the past 15 seasons, we’re going to wait until the end.

A few weeks ago, Jensen Ackles [Dean Winchester], Jared Padalecki [ Sam Winchester], and Misha Collins [Castiel] sat down with Entertainment Tonight to reminisce about the last 15 seasons and mentioned that Charlie [Felicia Day] will be making an appearance. We can hardly wait, Charlie and the Winchester brothers always make a great team!

Jensen shares with Entertainment Weekly that production has stopped due to covid-19 but this gives them the opportunity to refocus and give fans an incredible series finale.

“It’s a horribly unfortunate situation we’re in, but the silver lining is that it gives us an opportunity to recharge…it’s like we’re at the end of a marathon and they want us to sprint for the last two miles. I feel like this gives us an opportunity to refocus and go into the last two episodes and hit them with everything we got.”

We’re ready for it Jensen! We know the entire cast will give us an amazing finale.

While we’re waiting for fall to arrive here are our top 5 favorite moments from Supernatural (this list was not easy to choose from).

Number One:  We’re going back to the beginning in Season One when Dean and Sam team up with their father, John [Jeffrey Dean Morgan] and go after the demon that killed their mother.

“You two are all I’ve got. But I guess we are stronger as a family. So, we go after this damn thing…together.”

We agree the Winchesters are unstoppable when they all work together.

Number Two: Normally, Dean Winchester doesn’t fear anything and has to push through a lot of difficult situations. Who can forget the “Mark of Cain” and Dean becoming the vessel for the alternate Michael.

But just like every hunter there are times where we break and what’s scarier than facing a demon is facing a cat…

“That was scary!”

To Dean’s offense he was infected by a ghost illness that causes you to be terrified at everything so we’ll give Dean a pass on this one.

Number Three: Dean stops Sam from completing the final trial and sacrificing himself to close hell forever. Sam confides to Dean that he feels like he has let him down as a brother, leaving us with an emotional Season 8 finale.

“You know what I confessed in there? What my greatest sin was? It was how many times I let you down…I can’t do that again.”

Dean comes back and lets Sam know that there is nothing past or present that he would put in front of him. We always adore the Winchester brotherly love.

Number Four: We know this show wouldn’t be complete without our favorite Angel Castiel. There are many times Castiel wants to go undercover and be a hunter to solve cases.

Castiel finds an unusual case where an eldery woman is convinced that her cat talks and communicates that it doesn’t like a particular mouse. Castiel takes this seriously and starts interrogating the cat.

What makes this scene our favorite is the cat really speaks when Castiel leaves calling him dumb. Cats don’t seem to mix well with the cast of Supernatural..

Number Five: Who can forget this hilarious moment when Dean is living it up with Crowley [Mark Sheppard] and decides to grace us with his “singing” voice at a karaoke bar.

We Love you Dean but well have you stick to hunting demons.

However if Jensen and his wife Daneel Ackles ever want to do karaoke, us fans are here for it.

Jensen posted a hilarious video of him and his wife celebrating 10 years of marriage by remaking eighties music videos.

“Call Me Al. 10 years of marriage and it’s come to this…remaking eighties music videos. Thanks for always keeping it fun and interesting @danneelackles512 #happyanniversary..I’ll forever be your bodyguard.

Happy 10th anniversary Jensen and Danneel!
