Steven Spielberg Creating Horror TV Series

Love watching scary shows at night? We have just the show for you!

Filmmaker Steven Spielberg is writing a horror series for the new mobile
streaming service, Quibi, in which they will provide short-form content. However, there is a twist: the series can only be watched at night!

Spielberg’s After Dark will have a countdown in the subscriber’s phone and let the user know when they have access to the series. When morning comes, the episode will go away, and won’t return until the next evening.

Quibi founder Jeffrey Katzenberg said Spielberg came in with a mission.

“I have a super scary story I want to do,” Katzenberg said. “He’s writing it himself. He hasn’t written anything in a while so getting him to write something is fantastic.”

The series will have about ten to 12 episodes.

Viewers will have to wait a little while to watch the show. Quibi will launch on April 6th, 2020. It will cost $4.99 per month for an ad-supported version, and $7.99 a month for an ad-free version.
