We have been waiting for Somi to come out with new music and it’s finally here. She’s been dropping teasers for her new single, What You Waiting For, that comes out on July 22. In other news, The Black Label announced that Somi has signed with Interscope Records. Interscope is the home to her companymates BLACKPINK and countless industry giants including Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish.

On July 21, iHeartRadio announced their lineup for the iHeartRadio Music Festival. This year’s lineup includes the one and only BTS. As we expected, the event is going to look a bit different. They will be streaming the performances that will be taped from stages in Los Angeles and Nashville on September 18 and September 19. The CW will air the best moments from the event in a 2-night special on September 27 and September 28. We’ll take it!

ATEEZ’s summer comeback is fast approaching and stans are showing their full support. According to KQ Entertainment, ZERO : FEVER Part.1 pre-orders have surpassed personal record sales for the guys with over 250,000 sold. As a special thank you to their fans, they’ll be streaming a 3-hour comeback show on July 28, the day before their album release.

The Queen is about to make a comeback. On July 20, P NATION announced that Jessi’s third mini album will be coming out on July 30. Jessi has been keeping us busy with variety show appearances, hosting her own show and her YouTube series. New music is going to be the icing on the cake.

Rich Brian released a music video for his new single, Love In My Pocket. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, he was unable to complete the video. His fans took it upon themselves to finish it for him. In some of the most viral fan edits, Rich Brian shows up in BTS’ DNA and eaJ’s Pacman music videos. Check them out here!

Zico has been all over our playlists with his new album and our screens as a producer on Mnet’s hit reality competition, I-LAND. On July 21, KOZ Entertainment confirmed that Zico will be enlisting in the military on July 30. We’re going to miss hearing his voice. We wish you all of our best, Zico!

To round out the week on a positive note, SHINee’s Onew was officially discharged from the military. He took to V Live to do a solo broadcast and reconnect with the fans. We can’t wait for Key and Minho to get back, so they can all be together again.
