Sean X-Pac Waltman Reveals What Owen Hart’s Retirement Plan Was

Watch Here:

It’s been two decades since the passing of WWE (then WWF) wrestler Owen Hart, and fans and friends are remembering him on the anniversary of his death.

In one of the the most devastating days in the sports history, Hart fell 78 feet from the rafters during Raw is Waron May 23th, 1999, after his harness accidentally released.

Speaking about Hart on The Tomorrow Show with Keven Undergaro and Roxy Striar, WWE Hall of Famer Sean “X-Pac” Waltman said Hart was already planning his retirement at the time.

“He [Hart] was ready to call it a day in the, in the next few years,” remember Waltman. “He had just paid for a house.”

Waltman said that house, on a lake, was for his family.

“All those things that you’re, you’re working towards right? He had achieved those things and he was about ready to cash in and get the fuck out,” said Waltman.

When asked if Owen would have made it two more years, Waltman replied,

“Oh yeah. Yeah. Yup.”

The Tomorrow Show with Keven Undergaro and Roxy Striar airs every Wednesday night at 7pm Pacific Time on The NotSam Network’s YouTube channel.
