Netflix is developing Hancock Park, a tense new thriller starring and executive produced by Regé-Jean Page as he returns to the streamer for a story set inside the world of Los Angeles high society.
Netflix is diving into a new high-stakes thriller, and it marks the return of one of the platform’s biggest breakout stars. The streamer has confirmed that Hancock Park, an upcoming thriller series, is now in development with Regé-Jean Page set to star and executive produce. The actor, who first captivated global audiences as the Duke of Hastings in Season 1 of Bridgerton and later appeared in The Grey Man, is stepping into a very different world this time — one rooted in glossy, pressure-filled Los Angeles privilege.
In Hancock Park, Page plays a member of a once-powerful LA family whose grip on their elite social standing is slowly slipping. The series is written by Matthew Barry, known for The Guest, Industry, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Page executive produces through his company A Mighty Stranger alongside A Mighty Stranger’s Emily Brown, with additional executive production from Drew Comins, whose credits include Yellowjackets and All the Old Knives.
Billed as a thriller with sharp edges, the series explores what happens when a dangerously charismatic outsider rents a guest house on the property of a seemingly perfect Los Angeles family. As this outsider becomes more entangled in their lives, the cracks in their carefully curated image begin to show. What unfolds is a layered look at the secrets, tensions, and shifting loyalties inside one of LA’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
Page is currently the only announced cast member, with more names expected to be revealed soon. His recent credits include Black Bag, Dungeons & Dragons, and the upcoming You, Me & Tuscany, further cementing his range across genres and platforms.
Netflix has not yet shared a release date for Hancock Park, but the project is continuing through development. Fans can expect updates as the series moves closer to production.
