In other royal news, The Diana Award named after the late Princess Diana is the only organization in the UK that is set up to honor the memory of Diana, Princess of Wales. As stated on their website it’s her belief that “young people have the power to change the world. It’s a big mission but there are two things within it that we focus our charity’s efforts on – young people and change.”

The organization shared a beautiful message from the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William on their social channels about what this organization and award means to him and his brother, Prince Harry and sending support to the staff during the time of this pandemic.

“I wanted to write to send my support and thanks to all the staff, volunteers, and supporters of the Diana Award. My brother and I remain every appreciative of the work you do to foster, develop and support young people, particularly at this time of uncertainty. Whilst you are finding yourselves adapting to new ways of working, there is no doubt that your support for young people, through what will be anxious and unsettling times for many, is as important as ever. This comes with best wishes for good health to you and your families over the coming weeks.”

It’s so beautiful to see Prince William and Prince Harry passing on their mom’s legacy and the passion of helping others, especially young people.

This month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continue their campaign for Mental Health Awareness Week with Heads Together in order to help change the stigmas of mental health around the UK and the world. Their mental health minute messages of hope and support during this difficult time was shared across the UK.

On May 28th, Heads Together will release a documentary titled, ‘Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health’ which includes content and discussions about the topic from Prince William and the Football Association in England.
