It’s a long-standing tradition that Pop Divas are etched in gay culture and female artists are idolized by many in the LGBTQ community. We love their support throughout the year, but we especially appreciate it during Pride month in June.

Here is how some of your favorite Pop Divas have been showing love for the LGBT community this year!

Miley Cyrus

In addition to showing support and solidarity for the Black Lives Matter movement, this former Disney Channel star also stood with the All Black Lives Matter movement, which includes the lives of black trans people as well.

ICYMI: Ms. Cyrus also shouted out trailblazer and LGBTQ icon Marsha P. Johnson at the start of Pride earlier this month!

me and my manger john used to send @billboard articles back and forth to each other from our college dorm rooms. as music industry students and lil interns, it was our bible. i remember one of our conversations really late one night, we were trying to hype each other up to be able to come out to our parents at the same time, and john said “someone’s gonna write an article about this one day”. and here we are, a couple years later, reading a mother fucking billboard article about us, and our team. it’s about time the world knows how special both @thacarterb and @mrjohnpatrick are. blows my mind everyday that i get to work with my best friends. i’m sorry i exposed the fact that sometimes we we sit on the couch wine wasted as we’re cc’ing each other on emails pretending to be professional. but i wouldn’t have it any other way. there is no one more deserving and hardworking than these two who work their asses off everyday to protect me and help me share my art and my truth. thank you for always caring about my heart first. i hope you know how proud your younger you’s are to see you paving the way to show other queer kids, and queer black kids, that you can do and be whatever the fuck you want. no matter your sexuality, gender identity or the color of your skin. and we will keep fighting to make this world a fairer place, so more kids like you can share the same opportunity. to my billboard bois, my heroes, my best friends, my family, i love you. thank you. i am so proud of you. love, cari 🖤🖤🖤

Taylor Swift

With this week’s huge win for the LGBTQ+ community (hey SCOTUS), many celebs took to socials to celebrate and show their support for this decision! Taylor was anything but “Mean” in her message of support.

Dua Lipa

Another Pop Diva who showed love for the LGBTQ+ community was our favorite “Don’t Star Now” singer Dua Lipa. Not only did Dua support the LGBTQ+ community, but she also used her platform to advocate for the BLM movement and informed her fans where to go to help in the cause.
