Pete Holmes Teases Movie From His HBO Show “Crashing”
Comedian Pete Holmes says talks have been had about turning his HBO show, Crashing, into a movie.
While appearing on Book Circle Online to promote his new book, Comedy Sex God, Holmes revealed they’re just waiting on one thing.
“I know people want to do it, and I know we could do it, and we’re just sort of waiting for the, the right idea,” said Holmes told host Jeff Graham.
Crashing just finished its third season on HBO, though Executive Producer Judd Apatow told Conan O’Brien last week that they don’t plan to make anymore episodes. He said the show wasn’t canceled.
With more free time, Holmes says a movie is now one of the things he’s looking at.
“It’s on the table. It’s always something we could, uh, look into, but we sort of have to know what the story would be, that would be, that would justify, kind of, cranking everything back up.”
Book Circle Online is the world’s first online network with shows dedicated to the intimate discussion and dissection of various books. BCO also features one on one author interviews, and engages fellow fans via social media.
