ABTV Quarantine with the Stars: Jason Oppenheim

If you’re just randomly in the market for a $5 million dollar home in the LA area, there’s only one agent you should call, and that’s Jason Oppenheim. After leaving his prestigious job as a lawyer to take on the family real estate business, Jason has quickly become one of the top agents in the country.

All of this success led him to Netflix’s Selling Sunset, where Jason stars alongside his twin brother and a team of boss women at his firm. These days, Jason is working on revitalizing his business in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic and he’s also getting set for the season two premiere of Selling Sunset, which Jason says is the best season yet.

When talking about how COVID19 has affected his business, Jason shared that it’s been a struggle, but thankfully things are turning around and he’s hopeful that the real estate biz will make a full recovery after this crisis.

Jason also shared details about his time on Netflix’s Selling Sunset, and he said that he definitely butts heads with this twin brother on the show, but most of their fighting gets edited off.

Some people’s fights who don’t get edited off would be the ladies working at his firm and he shared what it was like working with them.

“It’s good. I like working with people that I respect and care about. And also, we’re really good friends. That’s kind of what I tried to cultivate here. Real estate has a lot of ups and downs. There’s so many issues with clients among agents, but we’ve just had such a long history of friendship with each other that it works out really well.”

After talking about his office dynamic, we also jumped into the exciting second season of Selling Sunset, which premieres later this month and Jason shared what fans can expect from the new season.

“There’s a lot of drama. I like the real estate aspect, but there’s a lot of drama. I will say this, season two is better than season one.”

If you’re as excited as we are for the new season of Selling Sunset, be sure to catch Jason and the rest of the crew when season two drops on Netflix on May 22. Also, if you want to see more of Jason before then, check out his Instagram @jasonoppenheim!
