Love Island UK Season 1 aired in 2015 being the first ever Love Island series. The UK version of the show has the most seasons so far and the 7th season is airing this summer. As the show went on you can see how the show has evolved and how the challenges have gotten more creative.

They are always the leaders in new ideas for the other shows to follow. In Season 3 the producers introduced Casa Amor, a second villa for either the boys or girls to temporarily stay at while introducing new contestants, to keep us on our toes. The contestants on Love Island UK have even brought us a whole new vocabulary. Que the fanny flutters.

The UK contestants are always palling around with each other. Through all of their seasons Love Island UK has brought in a huge range of personalities allowing a wide range of viewers to connect with contestants. All of the Love Island series are funny, but if you’re just looking for a laugh, Love Island UK is the show to watch.

Although not all of the contestants are on the show for the right reason, there are contestants that have found love and stuck by their partner’s side after the show. Season 5 of Love Island UK couple, Molly Mae Hagues and Tommy Fury, has won our hearts and crown for cutest couple.

Australia

Love Island Australia brings in the heat, but thankfully they remember to use sun block. These Australian contestants have viewers across the world captivated as they grow and work through their relationships.

Cat Benatar, was the star of Love Island Australia getting more screen time than you’d think a cat would get. In the show, you can often see Benatar drinking from the pool while Eoghan McDermott, the narrator, narrates what Benatar would be thinking about the contestants.

A large part of this reality series that has you on the edge of your seat is the drama. These hotties with the bodies bring in the binge worthy drama to a new level. The Australian contestants don’t take a beat before the recoupling drama runs amok through the villa. After all of the dust settles they always stop to have a laugh and a dip in the pool.

United States

Love Island USA is the newest edition to the Love Island family. In this version the contestants are complete mayhem but in the best way. Currently, there are no known couples from Love Island USA that have lasted, but there is still hope with Season 3 airing soon.

If you’ve watched Love Island USA, you might have noticed that there is less cursing and their outfits are less provocative than the other Love Island series. Since Love Island USA is airing on cable television, they had a lot more restrictions put on them. This didn’t stop the contestants from making the most of it. You can find the girls having pure unadulterated fun TPing the guys room.

The USA winners are raking up the cash! On the finale of each season, there is a couple that is voted on and one of the contestants in that couple will win the cash prize. It is common for the winner to split the money with their partner. The reward for winning Love Island USA is $100,00, while it is $50,000 for Love Island Australia, and the lowest prize amount is £50,000 for Love Island UK.

With new seasons of Love Island coming soon, it’s time to get cozy with your popcorn and catch up!
