Jeopardy! finally crowned its GOAT- Ken Jennings!

Jennings, who also holds the Jeopardy! title for longest winning streak (74 games) faced former Jeopardy! champions James Holzhauer and Brad Rutter in the tv show’s Greatest of All Time Tournament. The other two came in second and third place respectively.

The three competed to be the first to win three days/matches of competition, with each day being made up of two rounds. Jennings won three days and the million dollar prize. Holzhauer, who won one day, and Rutter each won $250,000.

“It’s a real honor,” Jennings told his local news outlet KOMO. “How many people get to be the greatest of all time at anything?”

How did he earn his cool $1 million, a trophy, and bragging rights? It all came to two key decisions putting him ahead of Holzhauer, whom he lost to on the second day.

On day three, Jennings bet all of his 9,200 points to win the daily double. In a similar strategy, he bet all of his winnings to win the final Jeopardy! On day four, he clinched the win and the “Greatest Of All Time” title.

Throughout his run on Jeopardy!, Ken has won a total of $4,370,700. Not too shabby, Ken. Not too shabby.

Oh and if you’re wondering about that final Jeopardy! clue, here it is: He has 272 speeches, the most of any non-title character in a Shakespeare Tragedy. The answer? Iago (Othello). Did you get it right? Maybe you too can be a Jeopardy! champion.

You can watch Jeopardy! and test your knowledge weeknights on ABC. Check your local listings for times.
