ABTV Loves Katy Keene and Eric Freeman

Eric Freeman plays Buzz Brown on CW’s Katy Keene, so obviously, we here at AfterBUZZ TV love him. Eric joined the Katy Keene AfterShow to talk all about his character, his fave couples on the show, his steamy threesome scene, and also who he’d REALLY choose between his two spicy love interests, Bernardo and Jorge.

Jumping right in, Eric was not shy in sharing his thoughts on polarizing character Pepper Smith, who is played by Julia Chan.

“Off the camera she’s the nicest person! So, it’s funny to see her be so sneaky, and you know, doing all these cons on the show because she was nothing but incredibly kind on set. So, it’s a testament to her acting because she’s such a different person on the show.”

In addition to working with Julia Chan, Eric also shared his experience working with all of the cast and crew, who he says are absolutely amazing.

“This was one of the best sets I’ve ever been on. I play sort of a smaller side character, so I wasn’t sure how I was going to be welcomed on set, and everyone just treated me like just one of the gang. It was amazing. Everyone was really, really, kind. The writers, the producers, and the actors, and just like, very early on they were like yeah dude, you’re part of Katy Keene now.”

We love to see it, and Eric, you are 1000% part of this incredible Katy Keene family that we love.

Now, onto the JUICY, I mean JUICY, stuff.

Eric’s character Buzz was involved in a threesome with ex Jorge, and his new boo Bernardo. Eric walked us through that whole process, and how the show’s “intimacy coordinator” made it look that steamy. BECAUSE TRUST ME, it was STEAMY.

“It was an intense day of filming, I’m not gonna lie. It was very professional though. There was, you know, an intimacy coordinator on set, which is kind of a new position. Kind of in the Me Too era, it’s developed as a new position on set, and it made everyone feel very comfortable, and everyone felt very safe in that environment on set. I mean, it was a long day of filming, that’s all I’ll say. I think we filmed a bit more than actually made it to the episode…Our intimacy coordinator had a background in dance and choreography, so he actually was very helpful in kind of coordinating the moves through the bedroom and all that.”

Speaking of coordinators and amazing people on set, Eric also made sure to shout out the incredible Katy Keene costuming department, who he says KILL IT with their looks every single week. And since the show is heavily based on fashion, he feels like they are the one of hardest working costuming departments in the biz!

Also, speaking of moves, positions, and threesomes, Eric shared that if he had to choose between on-screen love interests Jorge and Bernardo, he would choose Jorge! AND WE WERE LIVING!

If you’re living for Eric as much as we are and want to see more of him, check him out on his other exciting roles like Blue Bloods and the upcoming film Listen. Also, Buzz on over to Eric’s Instagram and Twitter @ericfreeboy to keep up with all the fun things that Eric has going on. And if you loved this article, share it with a friend, and keep checking AfterBuzz TV for the latest and greatest in entertainment news and gossip.
