John Krasinski and Jenna Fisher End Stanley Cup Feud
With the ice melting in Boston following Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, things are also starting to warm back up between Office co-stars John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer.
To be fair, you might know them better as Jim and Pam, though they weren’t showing that kind of love cheering for their opposing hockey teams.
Fischer took to Twitter to congratulate her St. Louis Blues for their series win over the Boston Bruins, Jim’s team.
“I love you St. Louis!” exclaimed Fischer. “We All Bleed Blue!”
Krasinski responded, “A tough loss, but a momentous occasion! Great series! Next time, Fischer…next time.”
With John being a Boston native, and Jenna being raised in St. Louis, the rivalry between the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues for the Stanley Cup was bound to be fun for The Office fans.
For Game 7, John even invited David Denman, who played Roy, to the game to mock Fischer.
That left Fischer to respond, “well played. Just be careful he doesn’t leave you at the game,” a Office reference back to Pam and Roy’s relationship.
Normally, Steve Carrell’s character Michael Scott would be able to provide some middle ground, but even he posted a photo in a Bruin’s hat!
No matter who your favorite team is, I think we can all just appreciate this incredible trip down memory lane and be grateful the characters we saw on TV for nine seasons are still good friends off camera.
Now, we can only hope for the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox to play each other in the World Series so we can see Jim vs. Pam Round 2!
