Howie Mandel Has to Censor Himself on America’s Got Talent
Howie Mendal is admittedly holding out on us! But, there’s a good reason.
The host’s personality shines through on America’s Got Talent, which is in its 14th season, and the audience loves it. The show does a good job of tailoring their acts and humor to the family-friendly audience, however, it’s not always easy.
Judge Howie Mandel opened up to AfterBuzz TV’s Alana Jordan at NBC Press Day about how his natural comedy varies from the show.
“I spend the whole day editing myself,” admitted Mandel.
The 63-year-old has been a comedian for 40 years, and not all of his humor is PG like the show.
“That goes for every waking moment of my life,” joked Mandel.
So where does Mandel gets his inappropriate jokes out? After dark!
“I can go to sleep, and in my sleep, nothing is edited,” said Mandel.
Thankfully, fans of Mandel’s other comedy can get their fill with a new comedy special he’s released on Showtime, Howie Mandel Presents Howie Mandel at the Howie Mandel Comedy Club.
“My first in 20 years. It’s not edited,” warned Mandel. “If you have kids, do not watch it with them
The 56 minute special is rated TVMA.
