AfterBuzz TV Loves GOT7 Weekly

Get ready, Aghases! We’re coming to you weekly with the hottest GOT7 news. Before we get into all of the comeback content and the DYE mini album release, we have some celebrating to do!

Lullaby joins the ranks as the group’s fifth music video to surpass 100 million views on YouTube. Give yourselves a round of applause because that’s all thanks to you!

I don’t know about you, but the EveryDATE GOT7 series made my social calendar busier this week than it’s been the entire quarantine with a date every night with each member. We had ramen and ice cream with Mark, made chocolates with Yugeom, had storytime with JB, played with Youngjae’s pup Coco, made furniture with Jinyoung, cooked Thai food with BamBam and hung out in the studio with Jackson. If you missed any of the fun, you can find it all here on VLive.

DYE has arrived and it’s even better than we imagined. Every song has a different vibe yet they all compliment each other to tell a classic, intense love story. They show us new sides of themselves that we’ve never seen before while still holding true to who they’ve always been. All of the tracks will be shuffling through my phone equally, but my favorites (for now) are POISON and LOVE YOU BETTER. Now, it’s finally time for the long awaited title track music video!

As soon as I hit play on the NOT BY THE MOON video, I was mesmerized by the visuals. The color palette they used for the set design and costumes forces you to not take your eyes off of them, not that we would anyway! JYP himself had his hands in producing the track and it showcases each member’s voice so well. It makes watching them in the video even more hype.

Finally, it was time for the D-DAY grand finale, the live premiere of the album with a Q&A and performances of the new songs. Hearing their live voices along with seeing the new choreo is exactly what I needed. Sadly, the audience looked a little different than normal. When they sang LOVE ME BETTER in the empty seats that IGOT7 would usually be seated in, I was extremely affected, but we were all there in spirit and that’s all that matters!

We have a lot more in store for us in the upcoming week including their appearance on Weekly Idol and no doubt more behind the scenes DYE content to feast on. I can’t wait to dish about everything with you next time!
