Diving deeper into her experience at NXT, Amber shared what it was like preparing for a match and getting in the ring with Kairi Sane and Io Shirai. “It was really great learning from the coaches there, Sara, particularly, that had hands on in my match with Io Shirai and Kairi Sane. And getting to work with the two of the top women from Japan. That was just a learning experience all on its own,” she shared.

Many entertainers and wrestlers have been affected by the current pandemic with cancelled shows and loss of work. Amber reveals to us how she’s dealing with it, her past as an EMT, her previous health issues and how the home work-outs sustain her. “Everything got canceled and postponed, I’m adapting pretty well, I’m a former EMT, so I’m pretty knowledgeable about certain things, and I was born with asthma and I’ve had like pneumonia, many, many times my whole life so I’m very careful,” she revealed. “I’m protecting others and protecting myself, and I’ve been adapting, well you know at home workouts, I think the whole world is really inspired right now by everybody. And I’m loving watching everyone.”

We chatted about Amber’s favorite Wrestlemania moments and she mentioned that this year’s highlights included some of the top WWE women’s talent on the roster, “Becky and Shayna, obviously Charlotte and Rhea.. these women are amazing. Also, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross became Women Tag Team Champions and I wrestled two of those women (Kairi and Nikki) in that match, so I really liked watching that and to see how far they’ve come,” she shared.

Amber chatted with us about who she’s watching in WWE after Wrestlemania,“I’ve always been a huge fan of Lacey Evans, we’re from the same hometown, she was a marine and I was an EMT. My dad was a mechanic on the air station for many years and I’ve just been so happy since the moment I saw her….she just empowers women and I just want to do the same thing.” Amber definitely does every time she steps in the ring!
