Fans React to ‘Emily in Paris’ Being Renewed for Season 2

Fans have mixed reactions about the news of the hit Netflix show ‘Emily in Paris’ getting a second season

Netflix announced today that Emily in Paris is renewed for another season. The cast came together to create a fun video announcing the exciting news about season deux!

Plus Savoir, the company Emily works for, even sent her a letter informing her company back in Chicago that they will need to keep her in Paris for an extended period of time!

Lily Collins who plays Emily, in Paris shared her excitement commenting on the video “beyond excited!”

Emily’s best friend Mindy, played by Ashley Park, also joined in on the news commenting “Ayyyeee.”

Ashley also shared that the show won’t start filming till next year.

Fans have shared mix reactions about the show getting picked up for another season. 

Many people who fell in love with the show shared congratulations, excitement and love for the show.

While others felt less than enthused about the show getting a second season.

Some even had serious thoughts about this as the show was under criticism when it first came out for its portrayal of French people.

Others even took it a step further saying that the show didn’t have diversity, whereas other shows that weren’t picked up for another season did.

Netflix has yet to announce when fans can expect the new season but we do know that the show won’t start filming until 2021.
