Founded by Emmy winning journalist Maria Menounos and Producer Keven Undergaro, AfterBuzz TV is the artist-friendly entertainment news platform that celebrates, discusses, interviews, promotes and reports on the widest range of stars, creators and content through video, audio and article publications.

For those who don’t already have a subscription for the app, Disney Plus has stopped offering free trials. If you want to watch Hamilton you’ll have to sign up and create an account for Disney Plus.

“We continue to test and evaluate different marketing, offers, and promotions to grow Disney+. The service was set at an attractive price-to-value proposition that we believe delivers a compelling entertainment offering on its own,” said a Disney Plus spokesperson in a statement to The Verge.

Without a free trial, anyone who wants to watch Hamilton when it’s out will have to pay for at least one month of Disney Plus (which costs $6.99, or $12.99 for the more prominently advertised bundle that also includes Hulu and ESPN Plus). This is a smart, strategic move given that its release is the most anticipated title of the service yet.

French news site Numerama, first noticed the streaming service quietly stopped offering free trials.

As of early May, Disney Plus has acquired over 50 million subscribers worldwide, just six months after its launch.
