If you were curious if Clare Crawley’s done any Internet stalking of her soon to be suitors, she confessed the truth in the most recent episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast with Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin.

“Obviously. What woman wouldn’t?” she said. “Are you kidding me?”

After production of The Bachelorette was delayed due to Covid-19, Crawley admitted to Googling some of the contestants.

“At first, I really didn’t. I really did not,” she explained. “I just kind of felt like I want to get to know them.”

After checking out some of their Instagrams, Crawley said she wouldn’t judge them by their feeds.

“I know how my Instagram is. It’s a piece of my life, but it’s not, it’s one of those you have to see and feel it in person. And so regardless of what their life is, what it looks like on their Instagram, it’s nice to actually see them in person.”

While Crawley didn’t reveal if she slid into any of the DMs of her potential future fiance, Chris Harrison has suggested she may have spoken with some of the suitors on social media. Even if that’s the case, she’s likely in store for a few surprises when filming starts. Despite the cast already being announced, casting has continued during quarantine for Crawley’s season, as host Chris Harrion explained in an Instagram Live in March .

“The thought that 25, 30, 35 guys, everybody that was able to take time off and come on The Bachelorette is going to be able to come back again whenever we do this, because we don’t have a set time of when we’re gonna come back. Obviously, with this virus, who knows when this thing is going to blow through,” Harrison explained. The idea that everybody is going to be able to take off work and do this again, probably very slim.”

ABC has since announced their fall lineup, including plans to shoot The Bachelorette in quarantine beginning in July. The season is set to air sometime in the fall.
