Bachelor Biography

In just four years, Wells Adams has created a name for himself as one of the most beloved members of Bachelor Nation, amassing 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

His Bachelor journey started in 2016 as a suitor on Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette. While Adams was sent home week six, he was welcomed back for Bachelor in Paradise in its third season, where he dated Ashley Iaconetti through the sixth week of filming.

Adams became a fixture in Paradise as he replaced Jorge Mareno as the hotel bartender in season four, fixing drinks for contestants and offering sage advice to budding couples from behind the bar. He returned to bartend for the two following seasons in 2018 and 2019.

Where is he now?

After pursuing love on the Bachelor franchise, Adams began a relationship with Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland in 2017. In true Bachelor influencer style, their relationship started on social media with a series of flirtatious tweets. They took their relationship public on Instagram that Halloween with Stranger Things–themed costumes

“Two years ago I asked when you were going to ask me to be your girlfriend. This summer you asked me to be your wife,” Hyland wrote in an Instagram post. “If two years feels like a lifetime then I can’t wait to spend my eternity with you. You’re the calm to my storm. The sun to my moon. The Chandler to my Monica. I can’t wait to marry you.”

Wells and Hyland announced that they’re postponing their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic in an interview with Chris Harrison The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever! in July 2020.

“No plans as of right now. We’ve put all planning on hold,” Hyland said.

While we might have to wait for adorable wedding photos, you can catch Adams in a handful of podcasts he hosts: WellsCast, Your Favorite Thing with Brandy Cyrus and Pratt Cast with Stephanie Pratt.
