ABTV Quarantine With The Stars: Avenue Beat

When the ladies of Avenue Beat joined their musical forces together, they were fortunate enough to live in Quincy, Illinois, a midwest town that celebrates arts and music. However, they knew that if they really wanted to break out in the music scene, there was only one place they needed to be.

With their combined musical prowess spanning a lifelong love of country, pop, and rock, Avenue Beat picked up and hit the road for Nashville, and their music careers have been flourishing ever since.

Now, as they’re set to join Rascal Flatts on their Farewell: Life Is A Highway Tour this fall, Avenue Beat is blessing us with some amazing quarantine beats to get us through these crazy times and they stopped by AfterBuzz TV’s Quarantine With The Stars to chat all about their new music, their quarantine covers, and even blessed us with a performance of their hit single “Ruin That For Me”.

When comparing the music scene of their hometown in Illinois to the bright lights of Nashville, the ladies of Avenue Beat had this to say about the two places they call home:

“Our town Quincy had a really thriving arts community. We all did musical theater. There were always opportunities to perform and play out places. The thing that’s nice and that’s the same is that there is a community of people that band together to create in both places.”

The trio also shared their love of Nashville and how they think it’s the best big city to start out in the industry because of how nice everyone is.

Speaking of the music industry, the ladies of Avenue Beat also shared some of their musical inspirations and who inspired them and their modern sound. Music superstars like Queen, Miranda Lambert, and Maren Morris, are some of the acts that inspired these three talented young women to pursue their dreams.

These dreams are now coming true as Avenue Beat is set to take the stage alongside Rascal Flatts on Rascal Flatts’ Farewell: Life Is A Highway Tour this fall. When asked about how excited they were for this tour, the girls shared how honored they were to be chosen:“We were in shock. It was like, ‘Are you sure they said us and not just someone that has a similar name?!’ They really are like ICONIC, no matter what your preferences are with genre, like, everybody knows them. We finally have a thing we can tell our friends from back home. They’re like ‘Oh, I know that! So you’re not just playing bars, you’re actually doing something cool!”

While they’re already on the road to country and music superstardom with this upcoming Rascal Flatts tour, we’re sure that Avenue Beat will be selling out arenas as headliners, in no time.

Also, if you were wondering what Avenue Beat is up to during quarantine besides making amazing covers with their EP the quarantine covers, the trio shared that they’re also making TikToks, getting outside, and Savana even started a clothing shop to sell some of her clothes! We stan multi-talented businesswomen!
