Ariana Grande and Justin Beiber’s Collab Confuses Fans Like Me of Grande and Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande are collaborating on new music. And I would be HERE FOR IT, if I wasn’t also a Selena Gomez stan. Oh, the turmoil of ARIANATORS and SELENATORS alike!

ABTV Celebs Fighting Coronavirus : Stuck With U

Yesterday, this happened. And I was shook.

Justin Bieber announced on Twitter that he had a special announcement and Ariana Grande chimed in saying she’ll be there. DO YOU SEE MY STRUGGLE?

Today, Ari made the collab official with an announcement on her IG for a song called “Stuck With U”. What’s so “sweetener” about this new track is that a portion of the proceeds will benefit the 1st Responders Children Foundation to fund grants and scholarships for children of 1st Responders on the front lines of the COVID19 crisis.

Now, with all that said…here’s my take.

I’m one of the biggest Ariana Grande fans out there. There are no tears left to cry from me after I listen to any of Ari’s music because I literally love her so much.

Also, I feel the same way about Selena Gomez because I think she is such a rare artist and a true talent of our generation. Feel Me?

It’s well chronicled that Justin and Selena’s relationship was tumultuous (to say the least), and with songs like “The Heart Wants What It Wants” and “Lose You To Love Me” in Selena’s repertoire, it’s safe to say that Justin isn’t her favorite ex.

Now, if I didn’t know that Justin and Selena’s relationship and breakup was less than amicable, I would totally be on board with this Ari and Bieber collab. I think that Justin Bieber is extremely talented and this new song with Ari will probably be FIRE.

However, since I do know the aftermath of his and Selena’s relationship and I’m a huge Selena Gomes Stan, it makes this announcement very difficult for me and makes it very hard for me to get behind this collab.

Nonetheless, we here at AfterBuzz pride ourselves on seeing both viewpoints, so as a fan of Ariana Grande, I will say that I can’t wait to hear this song.

Honestly, anything Ariana will do for me at this point, since we’re over a year out from the masterpiece that is thank u, next and I’m still reeling from Ari’s iconic performance of “I Won’t Say I’m In Love”.

And I do have to give JB props for this collab and its benefit aspect because he and Ari are spreading positivity and light in these trying times.

Also, as a side note, this was not written to incite a Stan war between Arianators and Selenators. It was meant for me to express my deep frustration for being a die-hard fan of both these queens, and how I lowkey want this collab as an Arianator, but also must be loyal to my girl as a Selenator.
