When you think of the phrase “multi-talented,” one of the first people that come to mind should be Aria Brooks. At the tender age of thirteen, Aria is already an accomplished actor, singer, writer and producer, and her young career is only just beginning.

Having already starred in incredible films like Harriet, Aria is now focusing her acting efforts into making us laugh on Nickelodeon’s hit sketch comedy series All That. Aria has even been doing some fun sketches of her own from home during quarantine!

One of these sketches was her recent parody of TikTok star Tabitha Brown. Brooks mentioned that Nickelodeon has been wonderful in offering its talent ways to be creative during these times, and she shared how this Savage parody came about.

“I was in a meeting and we were just throwing out ideas of things that I could do and then I was like what if I did a parody as Tabitha Brown and I put a bunch of stuff together to be outside of the box, and then the very same day I started writing it and recorded it and came up with the music video concept.”

In addition to writing and acting in home sketches, Brooks is seeing the silver lining in quarantine as she has been having a blast doing some baking and playing board games with her family.

Since she starred in an extremely powerful movie for the black community, we also wanted to get Aria’s take on how Harriet can be used to educate the world on today’s issues. Aria shared that she definitely believes that Harriet can do this and she loved how real the film was in its telling of history.

“I think Harriet was really powerful and I think it showed the true story of Harriet Tubman. It showed a little bit more than what they teach you at school.”

When she’s not in school or at home baking, Aria is hard at work keeping her creative juices flowing as she is an accomplished singer as well. Aria touched on how her first two singles actually came to fruition very naturally and with her GarageBand skills, she wrote, produced, AND sang on these tracks!

“I am writing more music, so I hope to release an album this year.”

The All That star also discussed some of her musical inspirations with Melanie Martinez and Zendaya being at the top of her list!

Aria Brooks is at the top of our list as Hollywood’s next superstar, and whether it’s lovingly parodying TikTok star Tabitha Brown or writing and acting in more sketches for All That, we can’t wait to see what she’s up to next.
